“Dreadful service. I ordered a game and paid for delivery, which estimated delivery for Wed - Fri. However it was did not even get dispatched until after 7pm on the Fri and did not come until the following week. When I raised a concern, I was told deliveries are an estimate (which is nonsense. You can choose to dispatch it earlier. There was no way it could meet the delivery range when dispatched so late). I requested an option for a refund so I could buy it elsewhere (it was needed for a specific date) and was told I'd have to fund the return. When it eventually arrived, it was damaged as well. First time customer who will never return.”

Our records show that your order was placed on 14/12/25 and was dispatched by our warehouse team on 19/12/25, with a delivery attempt made on 22/12/25. This was during the peak holiday period, when order volumes and courier networks were under significant pressure. While we always work to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, the delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates rather than guarantees, and unfortunately delays can occur at particularly busy times of year. As your order had already been dispatched we would need this to be returned to us in order to facilitate a refund. We’re also sorry to read your comments regarding damage. “I bought a few games just before Christmas, and had a query about the loyalty points system. Query answered, and the parcel arrived in plenty of time to go under the tree. Very happy with the service, which I have used many times over the past 2 - 3 years.”

“Shocking service, ordered 6 items, unknown to me 2 items were out of stock. I wasn’t informed of this and had to chase my order. Was then told that to get the items that were in stock I would have to pay additional shipping costs. Multiple emails were required before this fee was waived, and the tone and customer care was non existent. 11 weeks later I have to chase again, 1 of the missing 2 items is in stock, but won’t be sent until the other item on back order is back in stock! Cannot provide any date as to when this last item will be restocked! If I want the in stock item again I will have to pay for additional shipping costs. Unbelievable really, nearly 3 months now, no genuine understanding or wish to redeem the situation. Unwilling to swallow the shipping costs of £2.99 to show any goodwill, and 3 separate members of staff have all treated me in an unacceptable and condescending manner. Shocking service and after sale care. Would certainly not recommend”

On reviewing this order, the delay was caused by a stock error on our website affecting two items showing as available rather than an intentional backorder wait, and we appreciate that this was not made clear to you at the time. We also acknowledge that this should have been communicated more clearly from the outset. Our standard procedure for backorder items is to charge the additional fees to split the cost of shipping. However, as this was an error with our website we are happy to split the order for you at no additional cost. We fully understand how frustrating it is to be told an in-stock item cannot be sent while another remains unavailable, especially after such a long wait, and we regret that our communication and overall handling did not meet the standard you should expect from us.
