“We shop at Swaledale as we are conscious of animal welfare and will not buy meat from the supermarket. We would recommend Swadedale Butchers, the chicken is amazing, huge chicken breasts not filled with water or chemicals. My husband loves the minute steaks and rump steak.”

“What can I say? Article in Telegraph re how chicken and chicken fat is good for you! Well if that is true then Swaldale Chicken Breasts must be great being so exceptionally large and full of flavour! So far everything purchased from Swaledale is absolutely excellent. Problem is always being asked to tate Swaledale products so quickly after purchase is difficult as always purchased in bulk and frozen! aprt from that I reccomend Swaledale Butchers as a first class supplier of, first class is not sufficient for the products. they are far and away terrific, I recommend Swaledale to friensds and family.”

“I have been a Swaledale customer for some time and have been, in the main, very happy with the quality of beef, lamb, pork and chicken supplied; however, the past two deliveries of sirloin steak have had a much higher fat content than usual which was a little disappointing. To be fair, when I raised this issue with Swaledale on the first occurrence they promptly issued a refund but I do feel more stringent quality control would eliminate this issue.”

“The half leg of lamb I ordered was perfect! Good weight and value for money. I cut about 650g from the bone for another dish and there was still enough to roast, which turned out just right. I'm sure, based upon previous experience, that the pork ribs and rump steak will also be great quality. I'll be back!”

“Orders are delivered promptly, in excellent condition, and in heavy heat-sealed bags suitable for freezing. This is not cheap food but it is worth every penny for the quality and the assurance that we're supporting local businesses and local farmers.”
