“High quality meat plus appreciation of the promise that it's not previously frozen. Other online butchers have been less consistent. It would be helpful to have more options regarding size, trim etc.”

“Swaledale is a fabulous website to buy meat. I do not shop anywhere else for meat other than here. Beautiful flavours, cooks well and tastes delicious. Buying this way is very economical and is far better than supermarkets. Never any wastage.”

“I was thrilled to find a butchers that created artisan style sausages and have been delighted with my delivery of fennel and red wine sausages, toulouse sausages, lamb Merguez and also lamb Kofta. Fabulous quality products arriving chilled and ready for either the barbecue or freezer. I will definitely be ordering again and exploring the range of meats on offer - thank you.”

“great tasting meat especially the sausages and lamb shanks, and not too expensive either also great deloivery service except sent to wrong address this time missed the 1off the 13 of my address so delivered to a neighbour who brought it across to me”

“It was all delicious: Sirloin Roast and Porchetta. The delivery (often problematic as we live in the country and are hard to find) was flawless and the quality so high it was a pleasure to cook; and no I dont know the management.”

“I am very impressed with Swaledale Butchers' packaging of their meats. I am rating the Leg of Hogget only because we haven't had the Bavette steak or the pork chops as yet. The Leg of Hogget was not only flavourful, but very tender as well.”
