“Fantastic company, i have been unfortunate to have my first issue in over 2 years of using Swaledale Butchers (caused by the carrier of the parcel not the Butcher) and the speedy response of customer services on a Saturday afternoon i may add, issue resolved and top quality produce as always, 5 star rating for quality and customer service.”

“My order arrived very quickly as you would expect. Packaged really well. The meat , however , was absolutely top class. The rolled mutton, was thoroughly enjoyed by my family. Have used Swaledale Butchers before and will use again.”

“Was a supplier of a couple of restaurants when I worked down in London and since then been a fan of their meat (pre-covid). Finally had a chance to use them again but this time at home. Was not disappointed. Would buy again since me and my wife on rare occasions eat beef at home!”

“The Swadale Saddle of lamb was v.well butchered (even) and therefore straighfoward to cook (Aga 40 mins) and 45 min rest All guests knoledgeable and agreed it was excellent The chicken was the best for flavour I have had for many years and remained moist after cooking (1hr 10 mins Aga and 30 min rest) The 'pigs' were disappointing as seemed to have an unusual flavour "more like Frankfurters" comment from 1 guest Overall cost higher than from local butcher or Waitrose but as it was for an important entertaining weekend we were happy Yes expensive purchases”

“I had diced lamb, mutton and lamb bones delivered. The meat was Very well packed and fresh. Making stock with the bones and making a large meal, the meat texture and flavour was amazing. V.tender. Excellent quality. I will use Swaledale Butchers again.”

“Excellent quality meat products, fresh and tasty. However poor delivery, again. Thrown over the fence and left, no contact to let us know. Found incidentally hours later. Having professional delivery will make the difference between success and failure for your well intended company!”

“First time customer and I could not be happier. The meat was delicious and could easily tell the difference between this farm grown meat and the supermarket meat. A bonus being Swaledale isn’t actually too noticeable pricier than the supermarkets which obviously another big difference and a reason why everyone should support local farmers and buy directly from farms. 5 stars. Will definitely be a repeat customer”
