“The meat is always good , this time we tried the butterfly lamb , simply the best lamb we’ve ever had ! Took slightly longer to cook than recipe on the site , but served blushing pink , divine and generous portions for 8”

“The buying process is good and my order was delivered efficiently. The only items we have eaten so far are the chicken thighs which were good. My only criticism is that the rolled shoulder of pork looks to be extremely fatty; I know that this cut is supposed to be fatty but it looks like this particular piece of meat is taking porcine obesity to a new level!”

Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We prepare our lamb neck fillet as 4 individual pieces of 150g - one of the reasons for doing so is that whole fillets can be somewhat variable in terms of size. Preparing in such a way is hopefully useful when preparing a dish, be it slowy braised or seared quickly. We hope this is clear given our imagery depicting 4 pieces and the product name - 'Lamb Neck Fillet 4 x 150g'. We really hope you enjoyed the lamb and the rest of your order. Best regards, Jorge

“Ever since discovering the delights of Swaledale, we have enjoyed amazing meals with none of the supermarket bloating, bacon without it boiling in the water etc. pumped into it for example. We especially enjoy the belly pork joints, crackling never tasted so good. The quality and choice has also tempted us to try new cuts that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to sample.”
