“Everything I have ever ordered from Swaledale has been first class. It's hard to pick out a particular item but the chickens are exceptional. This includes the recent Christmas rooster, which was so good; moist, tender and tasty, that we have decided to have one every Christmas from now on instead of turkey.”

“Order very well packaged and arrived during the advised time slot. I ordered a variety of meats. So far, we have only eaten the mutton joint - delicious. Looking forward to trying the Calabrian sausages this week. I will be cooking these using my recipe for Greek Spetsofai.”

“We were looking for an excellent butcher that offered an amazing range of great quality gluten free sausages and the like…..we’ve just received our first delivery and we were not disappointed! Absolute proof that it is possible to produce artisan products without cheap wheat fillers and not to have to compromise on quality or flavour! “I usually really like the meat provided by Swaledale and in this latest order that is still mostly true. The bacon however is very disappointing. It looks like water has been added (judging by the white bubbles and discharge while cooking) and the flavour is poor. Far below the bacon from Farmison/Gridiron/Pipers etc.”
