“The smoked lardo steak burgers were absolutely delicious. Chicken fantastic. Not yet eaten the cote de boeuf, but if is anything like the last one, it too will be equally enjoyable. All arrived on time and in good order.”

“I tried Swaledale Butchers because I wanted a high-quality, traditional recipe, gluten-free Cumberland sausage. When I found that all Swaledale Butchers' sausages were naturally gluten-free I not only ordered 2 Cumberland sausages, but I also ordered the sausage taster box, containing 9 different sausages. My delivery arrived on the specified day and all the sausages were in great condition. We haven't tried them all yet, but ones we have tried are excellent. I shall order again and will try some of the other products as well. Great quality and value.”

“You can literally smell the grass while frying the beef and the marbling on the steaks is incredible. The bone marrow canoes are amazing and give a great texture to stews and this is the only place I've seen them sold at.”

“I ordered rather a lot of beef to stock up our freezer. It arrived within 48 hours and looks beautiful. I had searched the internet for high-welfare beef, and thought I'd try Swaledale, and I am glad I did. I was pleased to be able to buy bones for stock and other lesser known cuts. I ordered an ox heart, which is new to me - it is huge! I think it will give us at least 5 meals! This weekend I will make beef stew, steak for four and a roast, all out of the ox heart. Everything else is in the freezer for the summer. Thank you Swaledale.”
