About Stanhope Insurance:

Stanhope is a leading provider of niche and specialist insurance to the UK home insurance market. We focus on providing solutions that fit outside the standard UK home insurance norms. This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

If you can’t find the solution through standard insurance platforms, then you will most likely have come to us as your next port of call.

Stanhope provides customers with highly personalised insurance products that their specific and specialist circumstances require. We will insure valuable items of jewellery whilst you are living away from home because your house, which has subsidence (which we are also insuring), is undergoing renovation works!

We are dedicated to providing exceptional levels of customer service and want all our customers to know that they have the right insurance policy in place at the right price, for their specific set of circumstances.

“I was requiring specialist unoccupied house insurance at short notice, of which I have no prior experience. From my initial web query Stanhope called me back very quickly and comprehensively explained the market and options available. A suitable policy at a very reasonable price (compared to some other quotes I had received) was then obtained, overall I am very happy with the entire service provided, definitely recommended.”

“We were looking for Contents Insurance for my mother, in her Assisted Living accommodation. Some insurer quotes were horrendous, some couldn't help. Following a lead from the Dementia UK Carers Forum we came across Stanhope Insurance - immediate response to our online enquiry, knowledgeable agent, nothing too much trouble, very reasonable price, documentation provided same day. Great experience, would highly recommend them.”

“Encountered Scott very professional and friendly . He put together a most acceptable contents package within the hour after having discussed with prospective underwriters on my behalf. I had previously searched extensively online but grew frustrated at the restrictive parameters being afforded. Thank you Scott !”

“Stuart was extremely helpful when I realised that my landlord insurance was only going to offer seriously inadequate unoccupied insurance. He immediately undertook a review of our needs and came up with an excellent policy that afternoon. It was all sorted by the following morning. Very impressive personal attention to detail and needs. “Very good service, we have a non standard construction extension and Airbnb flat so a bit of a bespoke insurance situation, I spoke to a lady called April who was very helpful and explained in detail as we went through. April said she would phone when she had sourced a policy , she was as good as her word and phoned back 3 hours later. She went through the policy and explained in detail all of the relevant parts I would recommend the service provided”
