This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

I was pleased. However I never heard from my Account Executive - Holly Sayer - 01730 777620 - clientservices@stanhopeinsurance.co.uk, who is meant to be my dedicated Private Client Manage and when I tried I was not permitted to access https://portal.csr24.co.uk/mvc/1678172544/sub/4

I was initially told by Luke at Saffron Insurance that all of our details had been passed over to Stanhope for a quote. I thought that this helped with things and was very happy with the quote. I had mentioned to Emily at Stanhope that there were some rings included in the items I wanted cover for. After submitting recent valuation reports, which included photos of the rings, it transpired that I was the only person included in the quote and not my wife. When the 'wearing' limit was calculated, again I was the only one included! When my wife was added to the policy and the 'wearing' limit was adjusted for my wife and I, the quote became very significanty more! I'm not sure how this missunderstanding had come about, having been told that all of the information had been passed on, but I am really happy that I questioned the 'wearing' limit. I do think that Stanhope should ask more questions about who is going to be included in policies. I'm sure that I was not asked if I would be the only person covered by the policy and I think the rings included in the policy, which were to me very obviously women's rings, should have at least raised a question about who was going to be covered. I know that the customer is responsible for checking that the policy is correct and I am so pleased that I did this before paying for it.

I thought Stanhope were very good and were accommodting when others were making insuring our property complicated.Stacey Sullivan handled our enquiry very professioally .The only slight problem was viewing and signing the Close Brothers Finance arrangement which couldnt be done digitally nor did I receivee a posted copy to sign as promised by Close Brothers.
