About Stanhope Insurance:

Stanhope is a leading provider of niche and specialist insurance to the UK home insurance market. We focus on providing solutions that fit outside the standard UK home insurance norms. This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

If you can’t find the solution through standard insurance platforms, then you will most likely have come to us as your next port of call.

Stanhope provides customers with highly personalised insurance products that their specific and specialist circumstances require. We will insure valuable items of jewellery whilst you are living away from home because your house, which has subsidence (which we are also insuring), is undergoing renovation works!

We are dedicated to providing exceptional levels of customer service and want all our customers to know that they have the right insurance policy in place at the right price, for their specific set of circumstances.

“I emailed Stanhope Insurance to request a quote and immediately got a response to say someone would phone me. Joel rang the following morning but I was engaged so he emailed me to say he'd tried and asked me to return his call. I did so and James answered. Joel was engaged so James offered to help. I told him I was looking for a quote for Contents Insurance for a flat with a 100% flat roof. He was very personable and extremely helpful and he made the whole process of setting up my insurance really easy - it was all done and dusted in a couple of hours and at a very good price. I had occasion to query a couple of things on the emailed documents when they arrived but James was on the telephone when I rang. Ben answered and he was very helpful in agreeing to get James to ring me back - which he did promptly. He answered my queries straightaway. I definitely recommend Stanhope Insurance.”

“I dealt with Recce who was brilliant. Really helpful and easy to speak to. He did everything he could to get me the right quote asap. The only negative from my point of view was that as soon as we had the quote back Recce was determined to get me to commit using lots of sales techniques etc. it was a shame that the tone changed. We did go ahead and I was very pleased with the service.”

“we were seeking a complex and comprehensive cocktail of cover - buildings, land, contents, jewellery and watches as well as Art pieces. seemed to beyond the capability of most "regular insurers" but Ryan at Stanhops tailored a policy to our exact needs, was continually helpful and polite on calls and emails. We were frustrated by our previous insurers and brokers of over 15 years - and Stanhope were a breath of fresh air, ad using credible and proven insurers.”
