About Stanhope Insurance:

Stanhope is a leading provider of niche and specialist insurance to the UK home insurance market. We focus on providing solutions that fit outside the standard UK home insurance norms. This could be an expensive item of jewellery, a property that is thatched or a home that is undergoing renovation works.

If you can’t find the solution through standard insurance platforms, then you will most likely have come to us as your next port of call.

Stanhope provides customers with highly personalised insurance products that their specific and specialist circumstances require. We will insure valuable items of jewellery whilst you are living away from home because your house, which has subsidence (which we are also insuring), is undergoing renovation works!

We are dedicated to providing exceptional levels of customer service and want all our customers to know that they have the right insurance policy in place at the right price, for their specific set of circumstances.

“I had been struggling to find suitable insurance after our original insurer became far too expensive and reduced cover at the same time. A call to Stanhope was the best thing I have done. From writing a quick email with our objectives, we received a positive result from Stanhope, and then a further phonecall to discuss, and insurance was all sorted there and then. Stanhope consulted with us over a few queries they had from the underwriter and confirmed everything in writing, with documents, and then we made the payment, all within 48 hours. Very impressed with the member of staff who dealt with us, who was very friendly and efficient. Very pleased.”

“Seamless renewal last time, haven’t compared with any other company,was going to with NFU but they took too long,so they didn’t get a chance. Luckily I haven’t had to claim for possibly 20 years ,so hopefully if I do the process will be easy Thank you 🙏”

“i have used specialist brokers for years, mostly with a good experience. Found myself looking for a different insurer for our home and contents cover and only spoke to Stanhope by a recommendation. Truly outstanding service, responded quickly, efficiently and came back with a level of cover, from a major insurer, that more than matched what i had, and substantially cheaper. It's a shame i didn't know of these guys before but i do now. Special thanks to Declan who was a super star...”
