About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“Would definitely recommend Mountain Dog. Fast and friendly service and nothing is too much trouble- even down to specifying colour of ball required! Love their quirky out-of-office replies if orders are submitted after working hours. A lovely company to deal with.”

“I’ve given 3 stars as once you manage to get through (on the phone) they are helpful. However all email correspondences were completely ignored with no acknowledgment at all even though you email the address provided on their website”

“They are great items. And lovely colour for black dog like mine. But still expensive and the Ruffwear leash is a bit thin. Hope it’s a bit more soft and thicker.”

Thank you for the feedback, we will be more than happy to pass this along to our supplier. In the meantime, Ruffwear do have some fantastic leashes that are slightly thicker and offer more padding than the Front Range Edition. I would suggest taking a look at the Flat-Out leashes. Hi there, Many thanks for leaving a review! I'm sorry to hear about the toy. The Signature Stick is best used as a throwing/fetch toy, and it therefore isn't designed for rigorous chewing. We have to reiterate that these toys should never be left unsupervised with your dog as they are susceptible to damage. All of the toys that we supply are from reputable brands that we trust. “Brought the Hurtta Razzle Dazzle Harness for my scruffy little terrier cross lurcher. The product was amazing and the company were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. “Great lead, perfect length for Teddy who loves to walk ahead. I like the feel of the material used - it has tiny rubber grips along the length which make it comfortable to use. And really quick delivery!”

“Ordered the product I thought I wanted then within 5 minutes scrolled to ended of the page and noticed a more appropriate one. Email Mountain dog straight away and the held the order back. I then had a discussion with Katie (very knowledgeable and positively helpful)on messenger and the phone. Paid the difference and the product arrived the next day. “Easy to order from Mountain Dog and goods arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It's great to be able to order the 1kg packs of puffed chicken feet, as they are my dog's favourite treats! She hasn't had the buffalo wraps before but loved them too, as did our other dog. Definitely be ordering from you in the future.”
