About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“We bought a dog coat for a greyhound. Beautiful quality and provides fantastic warmth and protection. We ordered too big a size to begin with but the customer service to exchange to a smaller size was excellent and extremely quick. Thanks guys, we're all very happy”

“Too small but looks a great little harness. Trying to sell it on as £3.99 for delivery plus £3.99 to return takes a big chunk out of my refund. Free returns if I exchange or buy something else, bit of a con. Note to self, always check delivery and especially return information”

Hi Valerie Many thanks for your comments. It is regrettable you have this view but as we provide items at a discount there is no way to subsidise a return - the use of our label is optional and for convenience only often people will use their own choice of courier such as Hermes or similar. We would have been very happy to exchange for the next size up completely free even though this is at a considerable cost to our small business Im not sure why you didnt pursue this option given your opinion on the product but our team are always available if you wish to discuss.

“I bought this ramp for our 20year old Jack Russell,Eddie. Who could go down our step to go to the garden but could not get back up and sat barking till someone picked him up, I tried a plastic ramp but his claws did not grip on the slippery surface. The mountain dog ramp has a very good non slip surface also a lot sturdier being made from alloy, So Eddie is happier being able to come and go and we are happy not having to retrieve him at four am in the morning”

“Ordered a Ruffwear Front Range Harness (size S) for a cocker spaniel bitch. Unfortunately the dog was right between OS/S and the neck didn’t fit. I therefore returned the item using Mountain Dog return label printed by the Post Office (at my cost). Pity the item needed to be returned but the process was easy and the despatch/returns very quick and acknowledged by the firm. Good company….pity the item was not suitable, didn’t think exchange for smaller size would be a success.”
