Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Very lightweight which is great for my dog who just loves to run - easy to put on and off and love the double clip at the top which means we do not have to struggle getting my dogs legs through the harness. Lead is a great length. Overall very happy with our purchase. Fantastic communication and delivery”

“Most of the gear is good, especially when on sale. I do not, however, like the ordering/checkout process at all. The most annoying thing is that the site they use to process the order basically forces you to save all your card details, etc; and I really, really hate that.”

“Absolutely amazing, my pooch loves it, must be comfy as she used to hate putting on the old one. This one she just sits to be geared up. Only one downside, it doesn't have the under neck hook as I've a greyhound I need to put the lead under the neck not just tge back hook as it restrains her pulling up and escapades. It's so good that we didn't want to return so we just bought a carabiner lockable hook for under the neck and we're enjoying stressfree walks. Thank you:)”

“A really good bag for the dog but we had to return the first bag as it was too small. This was caused by not having enough sizing info next to the product when viewed on the website. When the bag arrived it actually had all the sizing info on the bag tag that we needed to choose the right size. If only this info from the tag which included things like girth and example breeds was on the web then we could have avoided a return. Come on Mountain dog, copy the info off the product label and get it on the website!”

“Ideal for carrying my 16 year old terrier around the Cornish coastal paths or local woods when she gets too tired to keep up with my younger dog. She weighs 13kg and is probably the maximum size and weight for this rucksack. She fits in it well though and can still see where we are going.”
