About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 300,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, ChuckIt! and more.

“I am so happy I found Mountain Dog. Great items, and the customer support is genuinely very helpful and above and beyond what I’ve experienced with some other companies. Such pleasant people, and genuine proper customer service. It genuinely made me feel more content about future purchases. I know sometimes ordering jackets etc for dogs can be a tad... well a lot of back n forth over whether it’ll fit and whether it’ll be a hassle changing if doesn’t, but genuinely if anything goes wrong with an order I can tell you they’d sort it ASAP hassle free. The staff member I dealt with over my delivery was so lovely, and delivery was quick even at Xmas. If only more businesses had the same kind of approach as this one. I 100% recommend them, and if you’re thinking about buying items your 50:50 on just incase... order them here, the team are so helpful. Great products, quick delivery, helpful great staff. And the Ruffwear Vert Jacket is amazing. Perfect even for the mountain dogs here in Scotland in all weathers, without restricting them. Highly recommend. Thanks again Mountain Dog. :)”

“Mountain Dog were excellent to deal with. The opportunity to buy two different size suits to ensure the coat was sized correctly for the dog was very welcome and the refund for the returned item was provided in a timely manner.”

“Very simple collar that will not rot or rust. Our dog loves swimming and dive bombing into muddy puddles, ponds and the sea, so his leather collars with stitching or metal studs don't survive.”

“Excellent service, clear instructions on how to measure (which gave us a laugh too😉), neurotic border collie that gets triggered by the noise of a measuring tape not withstanding! Very prompt delivery. The Hurtta expedition parkas are brilliant, fit really well, stay in place and don't hold back zoomies or Frisbee catching. Keep the dogs nice and warm (don't usually bother with a coat unless doing a big hill, but they had been shivering in the recent cold snap) and limit muckiness. The dogs are keen to get them on so that's a big thumbs up, many thanks!”

Hi Yvonne - thank you for the kind review! Our MD, Julia had great fun writing up the fitting instructions (and we promise Miriam the Mannequin came to no harm!). Both dogs look super cosy and warm in their parkas - long may they last through muddy fun! :)

“Really love the reflective coat ,good quality and no chance I will loose my boy as he shows up so well.I need to order another one for my other dog but unfortunately they appear out of stock .”

“Excellent company to deal with. Quick response to any queries. Orders despatched quickly. Easy to return items and quick refund of money. The dog coat that I bought from Mountain Dog was an expensive purchase, but I couldn't find it cheaper any where else.”

“Not been able to travel very far due to covid as I was expecting to be up a mountain This is why I opted for this style. Used it in snow and cold wet weather and really impressed on the fit. Didn't move as my dog loves to roll around, wiped it when just a bit of mud and threw it in washer when caked. Quick to dry the next day and water just runs off it. Love the snug fitting kneck which was what was missing from other coats. Not cheap but would definatley get another 👍👏”
