“Instructions are poor, no mention of the yeast whatsoever and do I add sugar?”

Hello, We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with the instructions. We would really have appreciated an email from you to feed this back to us at the time so that we could provide advice if any instructions were not clear enough. We can however see that both yeast and sugar are mentioned in the instructions; which are also available to download for this product from our website. “We have been using LoveBrewing for a few years now. In all that time we have never had a problem - until now. Needed some information quickly, no telephone number. Sent a messenger message to get a stock reply that they were having problems which left just email. Asked if someone could call as a matter or urgency to be told that its only Richard (the owner) who could answer and he was out. Customer Service in this matter isn't great. Surely all staff should have knowledge of equipment that is sold.”

“Rarely do I write a review and its a shame that I need to do so this time. A great company with good well priced products and great to deal with when everything is going ok. However once you raise an issue which I have done now on two occasions I feel very let down with the customer service side of things and it dosen't appear that the customer matters very much. On the latest occasion I had a fermenting thermostat which stopped working just out of warranty and after about six to eight uses. I was offered a 25% off a new one but when I emailed back to discuss as I didn't think that was acceptable the email was never answered. I do not believe that after so little use the thing was fit for purpose and asked if they would go back to their supplier on my behalf. Having now read other reviews it looks like a similar problem is occurring with other customers too. What a real pity for what should be a great little company”

“SORRY, you just need a little extra care. It's not Tesco where they substitute what they think you may want, which is far from the order that you have given.... So out of three items that I ordered from Love Brewing. I only received one that was correct. Living over 100 miles away it is not possible just to pop into the shop. So I have always relied on their mail order performance, which has always been outstanding..... I understand that we all do make misteakes. But I would be horrified to think that Love Brewing's standards were on the decline ..... A GREAT shop, outstanding performance.on goods and quality of performance... PACKING NOTE-- 347370/01”

Hi Chris Sorry if a few items were wrong and thank you for providing the order number. However we could, and still can sort this for you if you can email in to info@lovebrewing.co.uk with what was wrong with the order and we will get the right items replaced for you. We would always ask to contact us on first occasions to the info help email as we respond straight away and this may have helped writing a review as we haven't had chance to sort the mistake. As you say we are all human and can make mistakes.

“Some items were damaged ie DME & glucose packets spilt. Others damaged but usable. Had to purchase a new bung for FV separate which wasn’t clear in description (could be argued I should have investigated more). But order was quick enough the date were fresh and product range was good.”

“The kit seemed fine. I was disappointed with the amount of plastic bubble wrap packaging, and would have preferred paper packaging or some other biodegradable/recyclable material.”

“I bought the premium Cabernet Sauvignon kit wine. The wine produced is very acidic (ph 2.8) and too tart to be drinkable. Perhaps I should have been more vigilant and made my own adjustments and measurement though I thought these premium kits were already balanced? Disappointed for the price.”

“Ordered piers porter ,sent reisling! delivery, sent details of safe place to leave but driver didn't leave items took them back not best service this is the second order I have placed.first one was smooth,”

“good delivery for items when in stock but too many times items are out of stock with no indication of re-supply date. This has occurred to Beaverdale large wine kits (Chardonnay Semillon) and chemicals and yeast sachets. currently Finings are out of stock, before pectolase, corks & bottle caps, all pretty necessay ingredients for regular home winemaking”

“The kits and other products are well priced but the delivery time was poor. It was clear the courier had not received my parcel yet Love Brewing said they had. Took well over a week to be delivered and may dissuade me from ordering again.”
