“I have used Jupiter Blue twice the first order of 8 access panels of two types was delayed as they had problems with damage caused by the courier before dispatch to us on site. Although this prevented delivery on the due day it was delivered the following day with alternative panels and a refund. This gave me faith that any future orders could be dealt with swiftly and competently. My second order of a fire rated panel was duly ordered and I anticipated a delay of a few days for delivery as per the forecasted delivery date. I was very pleased when it was delivered two days early. A very good service for these products. My only criticism is lack of information on delivery dates and times.”

“Quick delivery despite being a bespoke item and it was well packaged. Would have been better if the website mentioned that a key on a pole was not included. Or maybe it would be better to automatically provide a key on a short pole as I now have to stand on a stool to open the trap. There were no installation instructions but even as a non-professional DIYer I managed it. But I would have found it easier to install if it was possible to fit the frame first and then add the door. The catch is not easy to open and close as it grinds against the inner frame so it may wear or perhaps rust in future as like most lofts, mine is cold and damp. Incidentally it did that before and after installation so it's not that I've installed it badly and the joists are all level and square. All in all it's a good quality product and much smarter and better insulated than the wooden trap I had before.”

“Firstly Jupiter Blue customer service is excellant and attentive to needs and requests. The product itself was delivered as promised and was extremely robustly packed and protected such that it arrived with not a scratch. The basic product is constructed of metal with fibre glass infill to keep the ceiling heat loss down. The product fits perfectly in the prepared roof void. Unfortunately I see just one flaw in that the one piecel metal drop down hatch door does not fit tightly all around even when the one turning handle is fully and tightly located. Other standard hatches have several locating points to ensure complete air tight hatch closure throughout the hatch. There are sponge draft excluders in the perimeter gully to take up some of the slack however there is still slack which can be pushed upwards to close indicating not 100% closure in one area. My need was also for sound escaping into the loft and out via the attic roof having also applied my own sound proofing into the hatch cover.”

“Product (loft hatch) arrived the day before the expected delivery date, well packed and not damaged, therefore no complaints from that point of view. The reason for not giving five stars, was that delivery company texted me an hour before delivering the loft hatch, I was not at home. I then received another text to say the parcel was delivered and left at number 1. When I arrived home, called at number 1 and they knew nothing about it. Tried number 1 in the next road, they knew nothing about it. Contacted Jupiter who said they would contact the delivery company for clearer instructions. Anyway two days later, I went around to the side of the house and there it was, left over the side gate. Frustrating, but all's well that ends well I guess.”

“I bought a loft ladder and loft hatch which to my surprise were delivered the next day which was great. The one problem I had was that there were not instructions with the loft hatch. I contacted the company and received an apology straight away and the worker immediately emailed me these. So no real problem. The two items are now installed and working well. Would recommend the service”

“Ordered on friday and received the following wednesday. One of the corners of the metal inspection hatch was bent, but I hammered it out. The spare key I ordered was not in the package, so I phoned and they were very nice and put it in the post for next day delivery. Overall, they make a good quality product and have excellent customer service, which counts for a lot these days.”

“I ordered a made to measure hatch the order process was excellent, the product is very good I had to remove a star as I was never contacted to confirm the item had been dispatched as promised when I ordered the item. I was annoyed I had to go to my post local office to pick it up.”

“Arrived quickly, however did not notice damage to frame corner, fortunately was to be used in garage ceiling so not of great importance. Some fitting instructions might be useful to some people. Better packaging for corners would be advisable as cardboard box didn't appear damaged. OK but fire resistant pad is easily damaged, could do with some protection to prevent becoming spoilt. No screws.”

“I needed a certain lock for my loft hatch which was hard to find but I found it here and was exactly what I wanted. The only thing to mention would be that it states next day delivery and the item was sent by 2nd class post. I didn't really mind as I was home anyway but would have been upset if I had waited in and it did not arrive. So overall very decent item but the postage method requires attention.”

“So far my order is 2 weeks late and I?ve heard nothing about it yet. I?m hoping for a quick response and that when it does arrive it is of good quality. Updated - it got lost at the depot and was received a few days later. Resolved quickly by Richard and I must say the hatch is of very good quality and fits perfectly. Much happier now.”
