“Good quality made to measure loft hatch. Looks great! My only comments would be (1) Fitting would be easier if it were possible to remove the door. I did see that this was possible with cheaper plastic hatches - not sure if there is some reason why it isn't possible with metal doors but I would have thought there would be a way. (2) The lock is very stiff. I have fitted the screws correctly and the frame is not distorted. It does say that the hatch might stand proud for a few months whilst the draught proofing settles so I assume that it what is causing excessive pressure on the catch, making it stiff? This could perhaps have been mentioned. The catch also rotates counter-intuitively - clockwise to unlock, anti-clockwise to lock - possibly intalled 90 degrees out?? (3) No advance notification that the parcel had been dispatched. I had given instructions to leave in garage if I was out. Luckily I was in because I wouldn't have left the garage unlocked as I didn't know it was coming!”

“Checked and re checked measurements as the opening seemed on the small side, but the hatch went in without any issues, had to drill some additional centre holes as the pre drilled one were on a joining plate but otherwise more straightforward than anticipated.”

“I ordered and fitted one loft hatch and was so impressed with the quality [ ordered another, unfourtunatly I ordered the wrong size and got in touch with Jupiter before it was despatched and cancelling and ordering the right size of hatch couldnt have been easier or stress free, The lady on the phone was very helpful and my worries of making the mistake disappeared, I would definatley buy from again as quality and interaction was first class”

“I needed a small "trapdoor" to access a transformer and LED control I was installing in my bathroom ceiling roof space. It was a totally random search but I came upon Jupiter Blue and found exactly what I was looking for!! Flush fitting and small enough to be unobtrusive yet functional, the access trap is really well made and inexpensive. What a find, I'm really delighted!!!”

“Custom made hatch, very good fit but expensive for what it is compared to regular sizes. Had to have it custom sized as replacing an existing loft opening. I daresay I could have resized to fit a standard hatch, but it would have meant plasterboard work and redecorating the ceiling.”
