Good quality made to measure loft hatch. Looks great! My only comments would be (1) Fitting would be easier if it were possible to remove the door. I did see that this was possible with cheaper plastic hatches - not sure if there is some reason why it isn't possible with metal doors but I would have thought there would be a way. (2) The lock is very stiff. I have fitted the screws correctly and the frame is not distorted. It does say that the hatch might stand proud for a few months whilst the draught proofing settles so I assume that it what is causing excessive pressure on the catch, making it stiff? This could perhaps have been mentioned. The catch also rotates counter-intuitively - clockwise to unlock, anti-clockwise to lock - possibly intalled 90 degrees out?? (3) No advance notification that the parcel had been dispatched. I had given instructions to leave in garage if I was out. Luckily I was in because I wouldn't have left the garage unlocked as I didn't know it was coming!
