“Fitters were very good, friendly and efficient. Would have been much quicker if they hadn’t been given an incorrect piece but it was replaced and job done in good time everything considered.”

“The two eyg fitters were nice and friendly and gave us helpful tips on the double glazing for the future. They did a great job in two days fitting the whole house which is now warm and quite. There was a crack in one small top window done at the factory that they have reported to get changed. But overall i am very pleased with eyg.”

“Door replacement. Fitters were polite and did a good job. Unfortunately only noticed after they left that the interior letter flap was scratched. Phoned Scarborough office the following morning and had an appointment arranged for it to be replaced within 3 hours. Very efficient.”

“Conservatory is fantastic, unfortunately damage was done to drive. Countless calls and emails to EYG still not resolved. This has been going on since end of July. Customer service does not mean a thing. Very disappointed. Now sorted out, not very well as both EYG and contractor to busy pushing blame to each other and it took over 6 months.”

“We needed to replace our front door and large arched surround but we were concerned that this could be done properly in modern materials in order to keep the same style and character. The team at EYG were helpful and reassuring throughout and the finished result is brilliant, both inside and out. It looks excellent and no more draughts. We had to wait a few months for it to be fitted because of the problems arising around lockdown but it was worth the wait. The fitters spent a morning installing it and did a very professional job with a nice sense of humour and absolutely no mess. The new surround is thinner than the old wooden one and I thought it might look unsightly inside where it joins the wall but the finish is so we’ll done that it looks better than before. I would have no hesitation in using EYG again or in recommending them.”

“We have recently replaced all windows and doors with EYG. The installation and after sales have been first rate, nothing was too much trouble. During the installation any issues were resolved without question, the installation team explained everything before the start and during the work so we were fully aware of the process. After installation we needed some slight adjustments made which were done by the service team, again without issue. Extremely happy with the finished result and the service we received. Would strongly recommend EYG.”

“EYG were very patient and helpful when our conservatory was delayed due to problems with underground gas pipes which required moving - TWICE! The guys were quietly efficient and competent - but I need to bill the company for the tea they drank (smile emoji). The only problem was the leaks we had in two different places when during this year's torrential downpours the gutter overflowed and leaked in. Ian at Hull was very apologetic and quickly sent out teams to recify this. Overall excellent customer relations and workmanship.”

“We have used EYG twice before and we’re very satisfied. The third time was a complete disaster. Obviously have changed supplier as the frame design and colours have changed. Of the 3 windows and sliding patio doors, 2 of the windows were broken on fitting and the patio door was so badly fitted, the door could not be closed. EYG sent technicians to sort the patio door and it was so far out of true had to be replaced. Replacement arrived and the damaged done taking out the patio door necessitated a further visit to repair plaster work. Door is still not true and is a pain to shut ( ie have to slam it shut to be able to lock it without straining the lock) also there are holes in the corner which we will have to fill with mastic and the internal bottom plinth is badly fitted to the floor so that it could be easily pulled up, but we are so fed up with their attitude can’t be bothered but expect to have several maintenance calls to have it adjusted over the years of the warranty.”

“Great service. From start to finish they gave excellent service the initial consultation was without all the fancy talk and suitcase full of samples . Just good advice and no I’ll ring my office for a better deal . The installation team were friendly and efficient and the end result very good . Would I recommend this company yes , much better than the other two we asked for quotes from .”

“Would use again and definitely recommend They have a great variety of styles and colours available and will customise products to your preferences. Just be aware that due to me mixing and matching styles and colours, Covid related issues meant I was waiting around 6 months for my new door. However staff kept in touch to inform me of where they were in the process and once the door was ready they arranged an installation date really quickly. Their contact system is very efficient and any queries/questions were responded to within a few hours. I'm really happy with the installation and quality of the product, the only thing it needed was some additional sealant round the letterbox. The workmen maintained a safe distance and tidied up after themselves. I'd use the company again and would definitely recommend.”
