“Had a few quotes, some were competitive but decided to go with a company that has been trading for a long time. Fitters were courteous and generally tidy (one point, would have been better had they brought their own vacuum). Work was done to a high standard and finished on time. All in all, a good experience.”

“From start to finish EYG have been very good. There were problems with the build but that is to be expected it’s how your contractor deals with the problem that counts. Ian kept us informed and when he said something was going to happen it usually did. All the people who came were very professional and took great pride in what they did. We now have an extension which is everything we wanted it to be.”

“First the good bits: The window looks very good The fitters did a good job ( never mind the items they had to go back for) Now the not so good bits: At the beginning the rep. got his addition wrong and the quote was a mess (more to come, don’t go away!) Given the installation date we were all ready - no one came. Phoned the office - “They are on their way, maybe it’s the traffic” One hour later, no show so phoned the office again… “ They won’t be with you today!” No reason given, new date fixed. They did come then and they did fit the window…..lovely! Now the tricky bit. Emailed the office pointing out the error on the quote…..no reply. Phoned accounts….will look into it. No reply. I then get a frantic phone call from the rep. who admits he got his sums wrong but the number on the bottom line is right, will I pay that? NO, I won’t pay that. Sort it out. The numbers don’t add up!!! Second call from said rep. “I made a mistake. I’ll have to pay the difference etc. Come on mate, do me a favour “ By this time I was beginning to get a bit upset myself. Wrote complaint to MD. That was over a week ago. No reply. Maybe the boss is too busy but when he has a moment he might take a look at the various departments in his organisation so the right hand knows what the other one is up to. Oh, and he might send his reps to basic arithmetic class as part of the training. ERG are a big firm so they will survive without my moaning about the service. As for me…..once bitten etc.”

Hi. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you are pleased with the quality of our products and the installation. However, we were of course concerned to hear of confusion over the quote for the work and offer full apologies over this. This was not acceptable and has been addressed with the people responsible. We take pride in our transparency and clarity over costs and we should never have a situation where a customer is unclear over the final payment required after completion. “We chose EYG to supply our new front door by a recommendation from a friend. From start to finish they were fantastic . The door was installed by a very clean working team and is now so much better than our old plastic, leaky drafty one . We have no hesitation in recommending EYG to others. “There was a hiccup where they subcontracted a lintel for a specific day ahead of the installation, sent us a confirmatory email, but forgot to book the subcontractor, leaving us in limbo until we rang them. Apart from that, we had to tell the subcontractor to use an elevated platform instead of a ladder due to Health and Safety. The company wasn’t happy, but they did send round the required scaffolding, although they left the workman to assemble it himself. After that additional delay, Russ did an excellent job installing the lintel and cleaned up well after himself. However we still have the scaffolding stacked in our garden. The EYG guys did an excellent job on the windows, were very polite, and worked through lunch and late to get the job finished. They also cleaned up well after themselves. The windows look exactly as hoped and expected, and one contains an emergency escape button so that you won’t be locked in, in an emergency. Unexpected but welcome nonetheless. All in all, and despite the hiccups, we are pleased with the work that EYG carried out. Now we just want the company to arrange collection of their scaffolding… and we made them promise not to make any cold calls for further work…”

“We got a good price with a Black Friday deal, and it wasn't too long before our windows were fitted by Andy. A very pleasant young man. We only had two windows replaced, but will have some more done later in the year. I have no problem recommending EYG.”

“We recently had a refurbishment on our conservatory we chose EYG as the company installed the original conservatory over 30 years ago and we have had absolutely no issues during that time this is the reason we chose EYG to do the refurbishment and wow we were not disappointed we love our new tiled roof and windows they look amazing we are extremely happy with the conservatory improvements in addition to that I would like to say the two lads who was assigned the job Steve and Mark were absolutely amazing and went the extra mile and are a credit to EYG. I was very impressed with their dedication and care they showed and they did a top job thanks lads”

“Very please with the two windows fitted and glacé in our bay window the young man was polite and got on with the job finished the work and cleaned up and took old windows away straight away .happy with the quality of the windows .”

“After a recent burglary our patio doors where damage , and needed to be replaced asap. Contacted eyg and a surveyor came within a few day and measured up, the process was very easy and time scale for fitting the new doors and frame Was quick. Two lads fitted frame and doors within the time scale and on time. Thank you”
