“Super boots! My LOWA boots were extremely comfortable from day one, straight from the box. These are for summer walking, as they are a much lighter weight than my higher, more solid, Daschstein winter boots. Not as stiff as the winter boots, but I put a harder insole (Superfeet) inside and they perform admirably, providing a more flexible style of walking and climbing. Breathability, support and lightness of weight were ideal, as well as attractive colour. They seem good for at least three seasons of the year.”

“Insoles for LOWA renegade boots are a perfect fit and have prolonged the life of my old boots. The cost was a little steep but appreciated free delivery. The listing for the insoles did not state that it meant a pair which was a little confusing.”

“So far the shoes are very comfortable, the only problem I have is that the insole keeps moving back as I walk and rides up the heel of the shoe leaving an uncomfortable gap where my toes are, my husband and I have reset the insole each time I use the shoes but after walking for a small distance it happens each time. If there is a fix for this I would be really pleased to hear from you”

“Light weight comfortable walking shoes. Really good grip. Way easier to lace up than previous walking shoes and hiking boots that I've owned. Have carried out several weeks of daily 5km to 6km daily walks since purchase and they're ideal. Just about the right size at Size 12 which was the largest size Lowa had available on the web page. I'm a Size 11 for regular shoes. I could have done with size 12.5 or 13 on reflection.”

“Pleased with fit..width fine...but not quite so with having to pay £30 more for having to buy a mans walking shoe which is exactly the same as the womans to get the right width...”

“Ordering was straightforward, and payment standard, was a simple shopping experience, as I expected from a first class company, once I had received confirmation of my order, I didn’t receive any further communication from either Lowa or the postal company. Admittedly, there was an intermittent postal strike at the time, but three weeks, with no communication about the progress of my purchase from anyone is a bit disappointing. Even to the point of delivery, which was a complete surprise, I had no idea where or what had happened to my purchase. Left in the dark, sums it up !! Still happy I chose Lowa products over other market leaders. Quality always comes first.”

“Love these boots. These are my second pair the first pair list their waterproofness after two years of regular wear (the rest of the boots still in reasonable condition). Really comfy straight out of the box and completely waterproof”

“Great socks that fit well and.snug. Warm enough for colder days but not uncomfortable in warmer weather. Would have got 5 stars but I would have liked the sole to have been a little thicker.”

“I love my Lowa walking boots. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them (they are my second pair, after two years of constant use my first pair needed replacing). My only tiny complaint - the laces are too short meaning I can't tie them in a double bow. They are a snug fit and second time around I went up half a size - so a full size above my normal shoe size. These boots are brilliant and I thoroughly recommend them, durable and so very comfortable and supportive”

“I own two pairs of Lowa boots and recently bought a pair of grey Lowa Lacarno hiking shoes directly from Lowa which were delivered next day. Lowa boots and shoes are excellent products, I like the fact they offer a wide fit. I liked my new Lacarno's so much that I tried to order another pair in brown but unbelievably Lowa have stopped selling the brown so only the grey are available. This pushed me to purchase a pair of brown Meindl Durban GTX intead which are proving to be a great pair of hiking shoes.”
