“I love my Lowa walking boots. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them (they are my second pair, after two years of constant use my first pair needed replacing). My only tiny complaint - the laces are too short meaning I can't tie them in a double bow. They are a snug fit and second time around I went up half a size - so a full size above my normal shoe size. These boots are brilliant and I thoroughly recommend them, durable and so very comfortable and supportive”

“I own two pairs of Lowa boots and recently bought a pair of grey Lowa Lacarno hiking shoes directly from Lowa which were delivered next day. Lowa boots and shoes are excellent products, I like the fact they offer a wide fit. I liked my new Lacarno's so much that I tried to order another pair in brown but unbelievably Lowa have stopped selling the brown so only the grey are available. This pushed me to purchase a pair of brown Meindl Durban GTX intead which are proving to be a great pair of hiking shoes.”

“Very tough no nonsense boots that seem very well constructed - a little heavier than my last pair of Salomon boots but I wore those out within just over a year (sole falling apart, splits over the big toe) so I wanted something more rugged. Good fit and hard working so far - takes a little time to adjust to weight and rigidity of the boot but great ankle support and grip. I feel confident they will be more durable and reliable than previous cheaper purchases.”

“I have owned combat gtx for the last 12 yrs and decided I would change to z11 gtx for the extra height. Great boots but not as comfortable as the combat gtx.”

“My third pair of renegade gtx. Pair no 2 still in use with new soles but too scruffy for public wear! Very well made comfortable shoes, especially now they make a wide fitting. My only complaint is that the soles have little grip for British mud, clog up easily and wear out quite quickly. Then again, I wear them all the time. Ordering direct from Lowa means paying the full price, but every size available and delivered next day ( on a Sunday ).”

“Bought Lowa Renegade GTX boots recently, very happy with the comfort and support but after wearing them for 2 weeks in dry conditions, I then tackled a very wet Munro and what a disappointment these boots were! Feet totally soaked! I’ve now had to purchase the waterproof spray to try and salvage them and fortunately it has worked.”
