I tried the standard width boots but they were too narrow so then I tried these wide ones which were a bit better but still not enough space in the toe box. So sadly I have sent them back. Nice looking boots and lightweight too. The boot feels quite stiff and the top of the tongue pressed painfully on my leg. Under foot it's not at all soft and felt uncomfortable. I would like to have been able to wear them though.

Purchased Lowa Boots on line. Arrived promptly, Boots looked great well made. Unfortunately boots were too tight for my wide feet. Return boots, slick process. Refunded promptly

Sadly, the Vibram soles on my new Renegade women's low-rise walking shoes are very slippy when wet, unlike the ones I bought several years ago, so I won't give five stars, but the rest of the shoe is pretty much the same - very comfortable and just great for walking around in.

Very comfortable and great in wet weather. Until they start cracking in the uppers around the ball of the foot area. Shortly after this, they start allowing water in. Every Lowa that I have had for the last twenty years has failed in the same spot. I get about 18 months out of them. Never worn out the sole in that time.

Had these boots for around a month now and so far they’ve been great, use them daily for walking the dog. Comfortable and waterproof which is what I was looking for, only slight negative I have is that the colour(blue, look darker online) looked slightly different on arrival compared to online but still like them all the same. Would buy again

On my 5th pair of boots, love them. Pick up worked well, though ordering was difficult (dont live in the UK so had to send to random address then redirect to DPD, shipping times not clear and needed a couple of emails to work it all out)

This is my third pair of Lowa boots and I am very pleased with the good fit. But I bought trekking boots instead of walking boots by mistake because the UK website doesn't distinguish between the specific types. They are not as suitable for my needs as I would like them to be. They are too hard and stiff. The German website is better.

Overall, the Lowa Zephyr GTX Mid TF is a solid boot with excellent fit and construction. As someone with wide feet, I was pleased with the fit, particularly in the toe box. The length is spot on for a UK size 10, and the side rigidity provides good support. However, there are a few design aspects that detract from the overall comfort and functionality, especially the tongue. Pros: 1. Fit: True to size with a roomy toe box, accommodating wider feet comfortably. 2. Rigidity: Offers excellent lateral support, making it ideal for rugged use. 3. Solid Build: The boot feels durable, with responsive rubber soles. Cons: 1. Tongue Design: • The tongue features excessive folded material running from the top of the ankle to the toe box. This excess creates unnecessary bulk. • When the laces are tightened, the folded material exerts uncomfortable pressure on the top of the foot, which could affect long-term wearability. • A simpler design, where the folded material begins higher up (near the upper lacing portion), would alleviate this issue. • Additionally, a loop on the tongue for securing laces would help keep it in place and prevent shifting. 2. Lacing System: • The widely spaced lacing loops make it quicker to put on and take off the boot, but they don’t provide a snug, secure fit. • Tighter loop spacing or additional eyelets could improve adjustability and support. 3. Gore-Tex Lining: • The Gore-Tex material looks less robust compared to other boots I’ve owned, raising concerns about its long-term durability. • The stitching where the Gore-Tex meets the rest of the boot appears slightly inconsistent, which could impact water resistance over time. • Unlike some other designs, the lining doesn’t fully wrap underneath the boot, relying instead on glued black material. 4. Interior Comfort: • The interior has minimal foam or cushioning. While the rubber soles are responsive, prolonged wear may become uncomfortable without added insoles. • I used my own Superfeet liners, but additional padding from the manufacturer would enhance comfort for extended use. Conclusion: The Lowa Zephyr GTX Mid TF is well-constructed with a great fit, but the tongue design and lacing system hold it back. The excessive material in the tongue creates discomfort that could be a deal-breaker, especially for all-day wear. While these issues might improve with break-in, they suggest room for improvement in manufacturing. If these design flaws are addressed—particularly the tongue bulk and lacing layout—this boot would be an exceptional choice. For now, it’s a good boot with some frustrating drawbacks.

Web site has a glitch in that, for insoles, you click your size and then add to basket, it adds a size 7. If you are alert you may notice this, I didn't so it cost me close to £4.00 to send the size 7's back. If I had been more attentive I would have seen the error, I just assumed that if I clicked my size it would add my size. I've just tried the web site and it's still doing the same. Other than that can't complain at all, very speedy delivery and my insoles were good once I got the right size.

Service was excellent. Pleased with my boots they are very light which is what I was looking for and they seem really well made & robust. Not sure about comments on size in other reviews as 6.5 my normal walking boot size are plenty big enough. Not giving 5 stars yet as only time can truly tell in relation to wear & tear!

I have used Lowa boots for many years, and they continue to produce excellent hard wearing boots. They are a bit pricey, but for the quality, durability and comfort they provide, I feel they are worth it.

The most comfortable walking and working boots I have owned. Now on my 3rd pair, but they do have a hard life with me!

Very comfortable boots that can be worn for long walks straightaway. This is my fourth pair. However, there is a weakness where the stitching near the big toe crease comes undone which results in boots leaking. This has happened on all my pairs. This is a shame as otherwise boots would last a longer.
