“Love these boots, perfect fit and a great upgrade from my previous pair that lasted 6 years of wearing every day. (They would have lasted longer if I’d looked after them better). Very comfy and totally supportive around the ankles which is a must for me. My only criticism is that they are quite slippery on some wet surfaces, but I’m hoping this will improve as the tread wears in a bit.”

“My shoes are a good fit, in spite of being a size larger than I reckon I am with other makers. Becase they are new, they are still very stiff, but I reckon that will ease up with time. Impressed with speed of delivery.”

“For laces, the web site is confusing, had to ring the company to confirm size, as decimal point is in the wrong place. Delivery fine. Love Lowa boots, have 4 pairs.”

“I have been using these shoes for years and have bought many pairs. They are very good quality and very comfortable. I am now enjoying the added comfort of the wider fit, but wished they came in more than 1 colour so I could buy more. High quality sole gives lots of grip which means it does wear quicker than I would like. Overall, I cannot find better!”

“Lowa staff are very friendly, and helpful. But there are a few issues with the website. The shoes I ordered were showing as in stock. But they were not, so had to reorder in a different colour. Then the order form did not request which UPS drop off point i wanted to use, so had to chase up my order, when i did not receive an acknowledgement. The order was then processed promptly by the friendly staff, but I did not receive any notifications of order progress. So I took a chance and went in to my UPS drop off point and the parcel had arrived. Shoes are great, exactly what I wanted and a great price too.”

“The boot itself was excellent. I already have a Lowa boot and was hoping the new boot was going to be lighter. I weighed the new boot and my old boot and they were the same weight so reluctantly returned the new boot. I have very weak ankles and wanted a lighter boot for the Summer.”

“My first pair of Lowa boots, the sole disintergrated, told that they where very old and that's what happens, Lowa offered me 20% off a new pair? Tried a different make, but not as comfortable, so have bought another pair, and hope I don't live too long! They are a very good walking boot, but not as eco friendly as their adverts would have you believe.”

“My first pair of quality walking boots fell into a heap of rubbery dust, they were quite old. Which was Lowa response, they generously offered me 20% on a new pair! I tried another make first, but missed the over all comfort fit of the lowa boot. So,just have to live four or five years not to be faced with the same problem? Just try and wear they out before they disintegrate.”

“I ordered a pair of Renegade gtx walking shoes for my wife, she had tried a pair on in a Cotswold outdoors shop and found them really comfortable. We decided to order from the Lowa website at a later date. Unfortunately when they arrived they were too tight across the toe area so we had to return them. We then returned to Cotswold outdoors and bought the original pair where we were informed that they came in narrow and wide fitting, I didn’t see this information on the Lowa website. I can’t fault the service as they were delivered within two days of ordering, but I was surprised that the same shoes were £160 from Lowa and £150 from Cotswold outdoors.”

“Quality of the shoes looks excellent and there is a great range. Just a shame that the suggested supplier only carried a small range and then mostly no in my size! Just when a red-brick store can actually compete (and win) against online shopping, they just don't seem to bother.”
