“I love my Lowa Renegade shoes!! This is my third pair. They are very well made and the fact I can buy a half size is a major plus. The uppers last very well - I do a lot of road walking and so tend to wear the tread down. They are super comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry. Good advice ch support means they are great if suffering from plantar fasciitis.”

“Service was excellent. Pleased with my boots they are very light which is what I was looking for and they seem really well made & robust. Not sure about comments on size in other reviews as 6.5 my normal walking boot size are plenty big enough. Not giving 5 stars yet as only time can truly tell in relation to wear & tear!”

“I really love my LOWA Renegade boots, and I have cleaned and applied the corrects products to keep them supple and water resistant. But after 2 years the heels needed repair (ok this could be repaired via LSR as recommended) and water leakage was occurring through the sole, this resulted in them being unrepairable. Is it not possible for such well made boots to last longer than this? Communications with LOWA as a company has been excellent however.”

“I found the website easy to navigate and to make a purchase. The item arrived within a couple of days and due to unforeseen circumstances I had to return it which was also very easy and I received a full refund also within a few days. I have two pairs of Lowa footwear. I pair of walking boots and another pair of walk shoes. Both are excellent. Lightweight, water proof and sturdy. I have recommended this brand to friends and family.”

“My wife and I have been Lowa customers for over ten years and have been astonished at how comfortable the boots have been even from new. However, the Gortex lining is not very durable and within a year they are letting water in so, not so good in this area.”

“Nothing wrong with the products,but the dpd courier decided to leave my order at a post office 3 miles away on a sunny oct afternoon@2.pm with no warning/advance warning rather than deliver to my address as promised.And to add insult to injury,sent me a message 'sorry we missed you'!”

“I’ve tried other top brand hiking boots but the Lowa Renegades are my favourite. These are my 3rd Renegades. Comfortable from the moment I put them on. I am a UK7 but purchased UK7.5 to wear them with thick socks.”

“Just bought my first pair of Lowa Renegade GTX. Regular hiker and tried many different boot manufacturers over the years most recently Altbergs. However the inner seam on the ankle of the Altberg is now seriously rubbing - not a good place for a seam! So I've switched to the Lowa - great move so far. Done first couple of hundred miles in them now and have found them comfortable out of the box. Submerged them a good few times and thoroughly water proof. Following other's reviews I went for the wide option for which I'm pleased as they are a fairly narrow boot in standard. Other thing to note is the boot is quite flexible, something I wanted after very solid previous boots. I'm finding this is increasing my cadence nicely. FYI, size 13 wide weighs 540g per boot.”

“My order of foot bed insoles was reasonably priced, well-packed, ordered and delivered within 24 hrs by Royal Mail. Considering I love north of Inverness, I consider this an excellent service. I favour Lowa insoles as they were recommended to increase the comfort of my heavy, unlined, fell boots.”

“Really pleased with the speed of delivery, the quality of the boots and ease of return. They would have been absolutely perfect if they’d been the right size. I usually take a UK 7.5 so ordered an 8, but although potentially comfortable, they were a very small 8 (compared to a similar manufacturer) and sadly, too small. No space for my walking socks and toes touching the end! The 8.5s were out of stock so sadly, no new boots of me. Recommendi sizing up a whole size.”
