“Good value for money. Will last years without a lot maintenance. We are both now on second pair. My first pair were worn to destruction, and my wife's are still in regular use and will be for many years to come.”

“First walk in the new boots was surprisingly comfortable for new boots. Ideally I could have wished for slightly wider for my feet. I HAD to put my own insoles in as the LOWA ones were so thin - had absolutely no cushioning effect. Time will be the real test.”

“Lowa shoes are very light and comfortable. I needed a half size bigger than normal, but fits perfectly. The delivery was super fast and there was no issue with returning the small one.”

“Excellent service, delivered really quickly, unfortunately had to return first pair of boots but the order was processed and refunded the next day… amazing. I ordered another pair which came 2 days later. I could have ordered from another company slightly cheaper but ordered again from here due to their fantastic service. The renegade boots are comfortable, don’t need breaking in and are the third pair I have owned. They always have my size too (31/2 ) which many other companies don’t. Just wish there were more choice in colours in my size.”

“Lows Renegade High level of comfort from the get go. However after about 40 miles or so I’ve found that the insoles don’t seem to extend to the very limits of the boot. I’m not sure if this is by design. It’s not caused me any blisters and the gap only seems to be at the front. It just feels weird . A 5mm gap between the padded insole and the extremity of the inner boot right under my toes.”

“I ordered a pair of women’s Renegade GTX Mid hiking boots (regular fit) in a hard to find small size (EU 35 UK 2.5 US 4.5). The boots are well constructed with good ankle support. I returned them as they were slightly narrow on the widest part of my feet - the sides were rubbing against the small and big toes, couldn’t wiggle toes. I chose to go one size up (EU 36 UK 3 US 5) and am happier with the same Renegade boots. I would say Renegades are probably slightly narrow in fit compared to similar boots from comparable brands.”

“My Lowa shoes had a journey from UK to Kenya, where I collected them when I met up with my friend in Tsavo. So far they have been with me in the SGR (train from Mombasa to Nairobi), all urban stuff. The inauguration in Masai Land took place last Friday, dust, dung and rocks. Put it on Facebook. Serious rain on Saturday. So the Sunday walk was curtailed by that and we stuck to the tarmac edge of the road. I walk nearly daily, mostly rough tracks, and so far my Lowas are my best friend. I have a pair of hiking boots ( which are like clouds on my feet) but they get a bit warm at this time of the year. Yeah I am a happy customer as my Lowas get me going....”

“I use to love Lowa boots - my original Taurus’ were great but these new ones have a very narrow toe box which is such a shame. I had to return. Please Lowa, re-design your boots so they have a wider toe box!”
