Hi dear Fran, Thank you for your lovely post - it is a bit daunting when you first attach the cotton balls to the cable lights, but once you get the hang of it it's ok! Dear Miriam, Thank you for your post. Some people do prefer the filament bulb cables but we have used a warm white for the new LEDs so that they are not too bright and certainly not 'glare-y'. “Pricing for spare bulbs + packaging are horrendous and as far I'm aware there weren't spares included in original order. Bulb blew after less than 6 months as well and had to pay for replacement myself.”

Dear Selwyn, Thank you for your post; I am really sorry you had to order more bulbs when you were within the warranty period for your cable. A small pack of spare bulbs should always have come with a filament bulb cable. If you had contacted us directly on hello@cableandcotton.com I would have sent some more spare bulbs out to you free of charge. I am therefore refunding you for the order you placed recently. Dear Laura, Thank you for your post especially regarding the plugs on the cables. Many of our customers already have spare mobile phone charger plugs which can be used with the USB ports attached to the cable, so we give people the option to either use their own or to buy a plug for £4.95 on our website. “I really love the lights they are beautiful ..There were just two things I felt could have been better.. I couldn't put them on straight away as I didn't realise they didn't come with a plug !! I suppose that's my fault for not ready the finer details, I was just excited to find what I was looking for when a friend suggested I look on your site... I was real disappointed as I couldn't wait to put them in place and switch them on but I had to wait until the following day when I went to buy a u.s.b plug. Also,when I came to put the lights on the string the white baubles hadn't been split ready to put the lights in , I had to make the splits myself.”

Dear Helen, Thank you so much for your post - I am sorry you did not realise that the new LED cables do not come with a fitted plug but with a usb port (which is then plugged in to an adapted plug). We will look into making this more obvious on our website. A lot of people have spare mobile phone charger plugs which do the same job, but if you do not have one then you do need to buy a usb plug. I understand that is disappointing when you have to wait to use the lights if you cannot plug them in. As for the pure white balls not have splits in them at all, this is really rare and I do apologise. In the event that a ball has not been split we do advise that you can make your own splits with a small pair of nail scissors but it is not ideal - every ball usually has a pre-made cut which is what you were expecting. Please let me know if any balls were damaged in the process by emailing me at the following email address and I will of course replace them for you: hello@cableandcotton.com I am really glad that you still love the lights after these set-backs, and very much hope that you can enjoy them now.
