Hi Helen, I am sorry you have had a bad experience with our lights. We value every customer and want to ensure that they are delighted with our products. You're experience is quite unusual, although I appreciate this doesn't help you in your situation. I notice that you've bought from us on a few occasions since the summer. “Our new lights kept blowing - replacement cable swiftly sent but it was old style with no switch on cable. Not the end of the world! :) We love your lights...can't wait to eventually go LED :)”

“After only a couple of weeks unfortunately my lights stopped working, I contacted Cable & Cotton and an extremely helpful Kate dispatched a new string of lights which arrived the next day at no extra charge! I would recommend Cable & Cotton to everyone, their Customer Service is excellent. 5*”

Heck Gareth, this won't do at all. Most irregular. Did you bring this up with Kate (hello@cableandcotton.com)? I can see you subsequently ordered another plug. Please get in touch with Kate and she will refund you the cost of the plugs and the postage you paid. Really sorry this happened. This one goes in the 'must try harder' pile. All the best - Anthony

“I really liked the lights that I got for my room. I was able to customise it to the colors I wanted and it even had a wide variety of colors to choose from. I also got to put the light cover spheres together myself. I was able to make whatever pattern I wanted and can also change it when I want as well with the slips that make it easy to put the lights in.”

“High quality product, arrived promptly. It’s the nature of a hand-crafted product like this that things aren’t uniform, but I did have to cut longer slits in a lot of the “baubles”. Overall though, very pleased and would purchase again.”

“Fantastic product and ethical too. The new LED cables are great and every time I’ve ordered these lights I’ve experienced a highly efficient service. I will be buying more once I’ve found another excuse to have yet more cheery lights!”

“The lights are wonderful, just what I was hoping for. The quality seems good and the colours are vivid and very true to what you see when you're looking online. Love that I could mix and match my own set of colours, so I could use these as decoration for my son's 1st birthday and now they're in his nursery. Every night we make a deal about them when the 'big lights' go off and he just loves them. Thank you!”

“The lights were initially brilliant, but several of the bulbs went including the fuse, and even with the replacements I’d run out 2 months in, so I was pretty disappointed. But they’re great customer service sent me a new cable through, they’ve changed to LED now and these are much, much better. The lights look awesome again. Back to being a happy customer loving her lights and having them on at every opportunity”

Hi Michelle, well I am very sorry you had a bit of hassle with our Cotton Ball Fairy lights. Not what we like to hear and certainly not what we want our customers to experience. Please get in touch with the wonderful Kate, our customer services 'Ninja', on hello@cableandcotton.com - she will be delighted and determined to sort out this issue for you. We've now moved to LED lights so there will be no issues with fuses and bulbs 'popping'. Apologies again, and I hope you give us a chance to make amends.
