“Everything works as it should, quickly and efficiently. The only thing is I have a lot of older books (pre ISBN) that I’d like valued, plus others which aren’t recognised. Id love to sell but don’t know how.”

“A great idea and very helpful for me. Great to be able to pack all the books up and send them so easily. Was a bit disappointed at the number of books I had for sale that they rejected? Could be quite difficult to get up to their minimum requirements if I want to sell books again. Not sure what to do about old books that have no ISBN numbers. Will certainly give them a go though. Polite staff when I had to contact them. was a bit unsure about giving bank details for payment so opted for the cheque. Felt more comfortable with that even though it took longer to get my payment. All in all a positive experience.”

“Scanned and filled a smallish box with books. Easy to understand instructions for printing lable. Took to my local store where it was scanned and money received a few days later 😐”

“The service is very easy to use, especially now that they have an app you can download to scan the bar codes of books and other items. My one criticism is that some of the offers are so low e.g. 15p for a popular paperback. You have to reach £5 before they will take your books but at thise prices, itctakes a lot of books to even get to £5.”

“WBB is very good but generally pays less than the major competitor. However, for about one in 10 books (i.e. books they really want), they pay a good deal more than said competitor, so they are always worth checking. Sometimes they take books the competitor won't too. However, EVRI, their courier, is not always reliable.”

“The scanning process is so simple and the prices offered were fairly good on the items traded. Collection was flexible and easy to arrange. My only gripe is having to print the labels. Who has a printer these days? Other similar companies use couriers who print the label as they collect, which saves the price of a print shop.”

“Very impressed with the actual service. You received my books one day, checked them the next and immediately paid money into my account. However what I was disappointed in was that I scanned approximately 300 books including travel guides, cookbooks and text books, all of which you claim to want. Of all the books I scanned only 15 were sent to the basket to sell. I did not expect you to want them all but 15!!!!! They were all good books, no rubbish, but yes that is my opinion. Anyway thank you for the good service on the 15.”

“The books I sent were reviewed quickly and I received payment within a week. There were some crossed wires over books with no ISBN numbers, but it was quickly resolved and I was given an extra 10%. Very fair. So yes they are good!”

“All easy and straghtforward. The app was way better than others, recognised more books, recognised when a book was already scanned, the image of book cover in the basket easy to check the correct books being sent. Prices better than other similar services, but still v low for many books. Collection was OK, it was EVRI which used to be Hermes, who are not great (had many problems with them as a courier company). However once collected webuybooks processed quickly.”
