“I found WeBuyBooks to be very good if you can find books that they will actually take. I found them to be very selective about what they will take and there’s no way of knowing in advance what is wanted. However, if you do get a box together, they are good about providing return labels and arranging for the box(es) to be collected from home. Payment was a bit slow because I asked for a cheque instead of bank transfer. In future I will ask for bank transfer. On the whole, they are pretty good but it did take me ages to find suitable books. I haven’t tried DVDs yet.”

“Easy process to scan my books, get a quote, print a label and have them collected. I did have to chase for the money to be processed though and then it was actioned a couple of days later. Overall I still would use this service again.”

“Efficient service but tend to reject books that are not 'as new' for the slightest reason. WBB were unable to make a payment that I had not received as several months had passed since courier collected them, notwithstanding I provided details of receipt. The non payment only came to light whilst back checking payments.”

“Did what it said on the tin but I was disappointed that some really good books I wanted to sell they didn't accept . Still managed thought to get rid of some that I hadn't expected them to take. All worth giving it a try though.”

“It is easy to scan and sell items and send parcels. Payment was made quickly. My only complaint is that the amount paid is usually very small but I guess it is better than nothing.”

“Easy to use, easy to send off, no issues -much easier compared to Ziffit where the courier collection system did not work. But, fewer books were accepted as sellable overall compared to Ziffit. So good to use both if you can be bothered”

“I tend to use WBB more that others as their prices are often better for some books, however they often take less than their competitors and the collection options via Elvi are more limited. Haven't had any roblems with "missing" or "spurious damage" as experienced with other competitors and payment is quick and easy.”

“They keep asking me, and I have reviewed before, but here we go again. It's a good alternative to Ziffit. Sometimes they will offer significantly more than Ziffit, the other platform I use. Generally they don't and they won't often take less valuable items, but it is always worth checking. They are good at replying to enquiries. They are prompt to pay. They are a trustworthy company and they seem to have their collections sorted out now. Well done! And well one for building a company in deepest, traditional Lancashire!”
