“Webuybooks is a great platform for selling books but I have experienced 2 issues using them. Firstly the prices can differ between using the app and inputting them online.Online being the one paying more. Secondly...the courier used (Hermes/Evri) have either not picked up my boxes or have lost them en route multiple times leaving the process to be dragged out.”

“Easy to do and quick payment. Had to go through a lot of books to get enough to meet the minimum trade otherwise all fine.”

“Sometimes the app crashes, or when you use the app with a code it doesn't let upu, great app, I just wish we could get more money for our books, dvds etc, also it would be nice if instead of maybe a week deadline it's like two weeks instead. Great app though and will be recommending it to friends and colleagues, plus customers that come into our charity shop... if the deadline is increased then 5 star rating”

“My only issue is that the couriers did not collect, so I had to go to a drop-off point. I'm also wondering if it's easier to use the app for scanning the books rather than typing the isbn on the website.”

“The refer a friend scheme is easy to understand and appears to work well. We have a convenient local store to take boxes to and then checking and payment are quick prompt. Prices could be more competitive but it remains a good way of raising funds for charities such as ours.”

“Very easy to use, process was efficient, books collected on time and payment received within a week. Only downside was the number of books that weren’t accepted for sale, about 75% in total of those I wanted to sell.”

“Highly recommend that you use the app to scan books, CDs or DVDs. Much faster although you need to scan quite a few items until you hit the minimum value. It is quite addictive - like Wordle!”

“The service is very good, it is a great way of recycling stock we no longer use. My only complaint is with the collection from Hermes or Evri, they collect ok from the main college site but haven't turned up several times at the Adult College site and given some frankly ridiculous excuses why they didn't!”

“Just scanned my cds/books /dvds, scanning was easy, just a pity they didn't take more cds from me but was happy with what I got and got rid of stuff I no longer wanted, would recommend”

“The process was very quick and simple scanning, posting and getting money transferred - I sent the package on Friday and had the money on Monday. I was hoping for more money but just glad I disposed of the books and someone else will need them.”
