“Total rip off, 7.46 for over 70 worth of books, sent me money 2 days late”

“It has been so easy and smooth! The app allowed me to record all the books, I got a price for my lot, I put it into the number of boxes suggested, took the boxes to the collection point, got a message when the books arrived and got the money two days later. Fantastic!”

“The service is good and my contact with the company helpful and polite, but I do wish you could give more idea of what you want and what you don't want. I spent hours scanning books only for them to be rejected without my knowing why. Is there some way you could be a bit more helpfully specific, particularly where popular authors are concerned .... in my case you rejected everyone from David Suchet to the Queen!!! Just a thought.”

“Very disappointed with my recent experience of Webuybooks particularly as the ad implies a good return is almost guaranteed. I received less than £10 for 18 books in good condition. It was time-consuming to manually enter individual ISBN numbers for a valuation (because I don't use the app), and also took time to pack up books and drop off, which included having to carry a heavy parcel some distance. I also thought Webuybooks were quite slow at acknowledging receipt of my parcel and forwarding payment. I won't be using Webuybooks again it's simply not worth the effort!”

“Scanned and filled a smallish box with books. Easy to understand instructions for printing lable. Took to my local store where it was scanned and money received a few days later 😐”

“The service is very easy to use, especially now that they have an app you can download to scan the bar codes of books and other items. My one criticism is that some of the offers are so low e.g. 15p for a popular paperback. You have to reach £5 before they will take your books but at thise prices, itctakes a lot of books to even get to £5.”

“WBB is very good but generally pays less than the major competitor. However, for about one in 10 books (i.e. books they really want), they pay a good deal more than said competitor, so they are always worth checking. Sometimes they take books the competitor won't too. However, EVRI, their courier, is not always reliable.”

“I like it. it's just I think you should offer more for certain books also postage takes forever. Also Hermes/ evri are the only option in postage I have to go to the next town to post anything.”
