I haven't received my cheque yet, if I don't receive very soon I will be making a complain. Please look into the reason asap.

We buy books are very good but evri delivery service is completely unreliable and there is no way to contact them to see what is going on. They said no one was in when I was in both days. Very unfortunate. If my parcel is damaged it won't be my fault

A 61pence "goodwill gesture" for shambolic services - shame on you WeBuyBooks! Evri failed to collect my WeBuyBooks order # 2273158 on 3 different days. WeBuyBooks contacted Evri via their account manager, but after still sitting on my books 3 weeks later, I delivered them part-way myself, only to be advised by WeBuyBooks that one of my books' ISBN did not match ... but whose fault is that when I used their scanning system, which matched the code to a wrong ISBN? WeBuyBooks then charged me £2 for their own system error, and offered me to destroy the book or return it to me at my own costs. I suggested to customer services that WeBuyBooks cannot be serious ... After waiting 3 more business days I chatted with Gary today and found out that WeBuyBooks added 61 pence "to my trade due to the failed collection as a good will gesture" - Really? WeBuyBooks are having a laugh, right? Never again will I use their dire services - I will stick with trusted old Ziffit instead!

The price they pay is pathetic The items are sold on eBay and while I understand that it’s a business, the bark up is massive

No payment received for my books. This is the second time it happens. The first time, I was paid after complaining that I had sent the books, the second time, I am still waiting. Also, when the parcel was ready, the courier (Evri) did not collect. I had to take the parcel to a far away shop. Very inconvenient.

Prices are ok, but arranging delivery is to much hassle without a printer. They only use Evri/Hermes for collection. You can't use an InPost locker without a printed label (with Ziffit you can). If you don't have a printer they say you can print one at the nearest Evri Parcelshop. I've tried 3 stores this evening. The Evri device wasn't working in any of them and staff couldn't help. So I changed to collection. If you arrange a collection, you need to have a printed label. The driver won't bring one (unlike all other parcel collection services). My only option was then to cancel the collection, change back to drop off and request a label by post. Webuybooks would probably be good if they used a different courier. As it is, it's too much hassle if you don't have a printer.

We Buy Books' customer service is poor, at least for those selling books. I've used them once and that will be the only and last time. If your experience is anything like mine, they will keep you waiting and will show no regard for your time. I am in the fortunate position of having 2 charities nearby, both of which accept books. Both of them are polite and quick. In future that is where my surplus books will go.

We're very sorry to hear this! We do aim to pay the day after your offer arrives in our warehouse. Sometimes this can be delayed due to postal services which is out of our control. We do hope you consider us again in the future, WeBuyBooks

Checked item contents twice before sealing box so I know everything was in there. Company claimed most of it was missing or damaged (conveniently anything they had offered me more than pennies for) this took 80% off the price offered. Avoid!!!

webuybooks is a last resort when I have not managed to sell a book on Amazon, Ebay or local bookshops first. The main reason is the vast and frankly indecent gap between the price at which a book sells on Amazon (say £70) and the price webuybooks offers - around £2! That's a margin of several thousand percentage points! The second reason is the rejection of so many book titles - why not offer something?

They purchase books for £6.22, and then list them on eBay for £67.37. That’s one heck of a mark up.
