Complete waste of time, I traveled to have a car appraised today fully expecting to get chipped on the price. Not because there’s anything wrong with it “because there isn’t!” But just because that’s what they do, lure you in then offer you less. However I did not expect £1000 reduction for a tiny car park ding. Wow you’ve outdone yourselves this time.

I am disgusted with webuyanycar. I have an old Citroen Berlingo which I no longer need and failed the MOT. On line they quoted over £600 and to my knowledge I gave as much detail as possible. When I went to the appointment in Kettering I was eventually told that after taking off the £50 fee the van was worth only £50. The van has a new battery, half a tank of diesel and a roof rack, which alone is worth over £50. WHAT A CON AND MR SCHOLFIELD SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO SUPPORT SOMETHING SUCH AS THIS.

the price quoted then when i got there was extremely devalued. I understand for marks you have to reduce, but there were no scratches or dents only stone chips and that little too and does not reflect on taking a large chunk off from what I should receive. The sales advisor was extremely helpful but you company procedures are not customer oriented or honest.

My valuation was £800, I’ve been lied at the office, signed on their tablet, cuz the girl in the office said £500 and when I received the documents on my email it said that I’m getting £250. Don’t trust them!

Was given an online quote ( and I totally understand it was a quote) of 12,000 for my car , had to rearrange the appointment for the next day, arrived at the pod at Peterborough and was immediately informed that my car was now worth 10,400 a drop of 1,600 , was told that prices drop, plummet to there death in my case , I let him inspect my car , which I thought was in good condition for a 6 year old vehicle, he came back with a price of 8,896 , so another 1,000 plus had disappeared in a matter of minutes, my advice, do not use this firm if you want a fair price cause it ain’t happening, that’s an hour of my life I’ll never get back!!!

Shockingly bad experience with this company, allowed to make an appointment at a site that was closed. Then had to drive across town to another site. When there the quotes price dropped by 50%. At which point we walked, terrible service, almost criminal.

The payment for the car took a lot longer to reach our bank account then they said in fact at one point I asked for the car back, this is not the first time we have used them but it will be the last

The car sale itself was absolutely great but I have emailed 4 times about the returning of another car key that we accidentally left at the Reigate Office. Nobody has had the courtesy to reply to me in over a month!

As stated in the genuine reviews, offered £7250 by the time the small faults put into tablet, they offered £4100 These are a rip off bunch of dishonest merchants who prey on people. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM.

On line quote obviously inflated to get you to visit. Then trivial faults used to take more than quarter of value off. Very questions business ethics. Avoid.

They are not as easy as they advertise. They advise to value your time, which if you really do, dont visit them. They give you higher valuation and then once you take out time to visit them, they slash away one third of the price. If your car is trash, sell it to them, but if it's a decent car, dont. Their valuation really downgrades the true value. They valued my car at 3800£, and then offered 3100, when even partbuy mercedes offered me 3500. So that's gow poor their valuation is. I didn't even bother negotiating.

Absolutely useless & a waste of time !! Arrived 10 mins early for my appointment, called to say that i have arrived & the guy said will be out at the appointment time. Some 12 mins later the same person calls & asks if I'm still keeping the appointment ???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comes & looks at the car & the v5 and asks if i purchased the car for a dealer or private as I've only had it 3 months, I say private & her replies 'oh sorry we can't buy it and the pre team should have told you'. Well they didn't so you've just wasted my time !!!!!

All questions answered online and WBAC offered a good price for the car, then when I got there they offered less than half the price. A complete waste of time.

What a sham they really are....ignore their online quote, they won't honour even iof the van/car is in prestine condition, they are awful firm with staff that have terrible attitudes

Only left 1 star as 0 is not possible. staff rude, late, clearly unaware of Covid, and dont carry any ID. office very difficult to locate so expect the transaction to be done at the side of the road in the roughest part of town with a random person. My poorly trained random person made me an offer, told me it was valid for 7 days, then when I returned to accept 4 days later had no Audit trail to follow and offered considerably less. Nobody was available that could help her other than to ascertain she had not completed her admin following my original meeting (most on holiday or without sufficient seniority) basically told 'unlucky, we messed up but we dont know how to put it right so go away'. You cant speak to a complaints handler and they ironically call the email address for complaints "talktousnow"!!! if only! 1.5 hours sat in the car with a super spreader during a pandemic getting messed around (while she tries everything to get out of dealing with it because she has another customer waiting) and I still have the car I still need to sell. Seriously unless you are massively desperate, avoid them like Covid.

I sold my car to WBAC, but they neglected to inform the DVLA (as they are contractually liable to do so). Now they are being difficult about paying the fine and taxed amount. It has just been a nightmare to deal with them. STAY AWAY!

Not worth a star, Don't bother unless you want a £60 parking fine. Use the online valuation and leave it there, unless you want a parking fine. The valuation on site was poor I sold my car x2 valuation the same day. I visited the Hounslow branch and received a £60 parking fine. WBAC said:"Any customer visiting the site must therefore adhere to the parking processes laid by the parking authority. On this occasion the parking process has not been followed resulting in the fine." If I knew I had to pay for parking, I wouldn't have bothered. No mention of parking arrangements on website or by sales rep. They dragged it on for over a month and only really responded after I paid the fine, washing their hands. Daylight Robbery

I think there are a lot of manufactured reviews here. Definitely not a good value way to sell your car - you are likely to lose 2/3 of the originally quoted value if it has a scratch, once you've got it there they assume you won't be bothered to take it away again.
