Very poor customer experience at the Harrogate Cardale Park branch. I attended a genuine We Buy Any Car appointment and sold them my car. Because I was selling the vehicle, I naturally arrived with a second car so I could leave afterwards. I later received a £60 Smart Parking charge for the second vehicle. It turns out the vehicle being sold is logged by the branch, but any accompanying vehicle apparently has to be logged separately using the parking process on site. Nobody at the branch told me this. I was not warned during the appointment that my second vehicle needed to be registered, and I did not see clear signage making this obvious at the time. Had I been told, I would have done it. I provided We Buy Any Car with evidence that I was a genuine customer and that the visit resulted in a completed sale. They checked with the branch but declined to help, saying the parking is managed by an independent parking company and customers are responsible for following the process. That is not good enough. If We Buy Any Car operates from a site where genuine customers can be charged £60 for bringing the car they need to leave in, then staff should clearly warn customers at the appointment. I sold them a car and left with a parking fine. I would not use this service again.

I was offered 3000 pounds for my vauxhall corsa I knew I would not get that much and was willing to take 2000 selling to a dealer after insuring and paying someone to clean the car they only offered me just over 1100 pounds fir my 2016 corsa with just over 60,000on the clock and I would have to to pay them administration fees out of what they payed me they insulted my intelligence and would never ever recommend they at all period!

A little bit of a rip off really. Give what seems to be a reasonable online valuation to get you there, then give massive reductions(100’s of pounds) for a minor paint scuff. I understand it’s a business and they are there to make money but not to rip people off. Drove away in the end. Representative seemed friendly but obviously trained to give the lowest price possible

You got my review and we think it’s accurate our car was worth a lot more . We were given estimates that was reasonable and expected it to be reduced but what we were given was unreasonable with it being changeover day . I asked them for a valuation for my classic mx5 they said £400:00 which I thought was terrible so I went to an MX5 specialist and they said it was a very rare model and worth around £9,000 sold it for £8,000 through classic car site. Don’t trust them with your classic car they don’t have a clue.

Do not take a non-running car to We Buy Any Car.com based by Go Outdoors car park, Coventry. They will go through their highly professional examination of the car and then offer you a ridiculous low price. You are much better just ringing up a tow truck scrap car company or scrap yard and getting more money from them, without going through the pretense of getting a better deal from WBAC.com. They just take advantage of people, the many and many unhappy reviews are a warning.

Same experience as many others. Received on line quote after very accurate description. I was realistic and not expecting that to be met as figure is just to get you in. However car was 14 years old, one owner, in immaculate condition, fully serviced, every receipt for work done over 14 years, MOT - 2 days prior, 48k miles. Sales person checked V5C, service book, looked at car for 5 minutes, then offered 30% less than quoted figure, no explanation, no negotiation, complete disinterest. Makes you wonder what condition a car needs to be in to achieve that price. The previous day I was offered 10% less than WBAC's online quote, which I obviously took. Like many others I would never use them again.

Absolute scam artists. Offered £6800 at the site on BQ premises. Took it in and only offered £4700 even though they had seen it and checked everything. £2200 drop in days is ridiculous. This for a 19 plate Renault Captur in grey with only 35k on the clock. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.

How you manage to get reviews above 1 star I shall never understand. Every time I have used them they cut a large percentage off the advertised price. Yes, the staff are polite but as far as I can see that is the only positive recommendation. After the last insulting offer, I have decided never to use them again and would suggest others do the same. A local car dealer offered 250% more than there quote!
