Do not take a non-running car to We Buy Any Car.com based by Go Outdoors car park, Coventry. They will go through their highly professional examination of the car and then offer you a ridiculous low price. You are much better just ringing up a tow truck scrap car company or scrap yard and getting more money from them, without going through the pretense of getting a better deal from WBAC.com. They just take advantage of people, the many and many unhappy reviews are a warning.

Same experience as many others. Received on line quote after very accurate description. I was realistic and not expecting that to be met as figure is just to get you in. However car was 14 years old, one owner, in immaculate condition, fully serviced, every receipt for work done over 14 years, MOT - 2 days prior, 48k miles. Sales person checked V5C, service book, looked at car for 5 minutes, then offered 30% less than quoted figure, no explanation, no negotiation, complete disinterest. Makes you wonder what condition a car needs to be in to achieve that price. The previous day I was offered 10% less than WBAC's online quote, which I obviously took. Like many others I would never use them again.

Absolute scam artists. Offered £6800 at the site on BQ premises. Took it in and only offered £4700 even though they had seen it and checked everything. £2200 drop in days is ridiculous. This for a 19 plate Renault Captur in grey with only 35k on the clock. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.

How you manage to get reviews above 1 star I shall never understand. Every time I have used them they cut a large percentage off the advertised price. Yes, the staff are polite but as far as I can see that is the only positive recommendation. After the last insulting offer, I have decided never to use them again and would suggest others do the same. A local car dealer offered 250% more than there quote!

If you use we buy any car their quotes are very misleading. I was quoted 700 but came away with 254.84. The reason for this they said was that the price quoted was they assume there is a full service history with the car, even old cars like mine, 2009. This is definitely not made clear at all.

Took my car to the Lincoln Webuyanycar like many others the online valuation bears no resemblance to the value you get once you have taken the trouble to go to the Lincoln POD on Morrisons Car Park. The salesperson was rude and unhelpful. He could not be bothered to listen or look at my car document. I got the impression that he was on a kind of bonus scheme by offering the lowest price he could come up with. Total waste of time.

Nice enough chap but ultimately I have to echo what everybody else says, the online valuation is pure fantasy and designed to reel you in, once you get there they'll value it much lower. Even if you meet all of their assumptions (fsh and so on) they'll still scour the car for minute scratches and knock off hundreds of pounds for each and every one. The problem, at least in my case, is that the original valuation prepares you mentally for selling it, so despite a reduction is price you're already set on seeing the back of it, I accepted an offer way less than I could have achieved through ebay etc, and am now regretting it, please don't make my mistake - be prepared =)

I went to We Buy Any Car expecting a fair offer after getting a decent online quote. In person, the rep told me my car was in "good condition," yet they rated it as below average and dropped the offer significantly. The explanation was vague, and I felt pressured to accept the lower price on the spot. Once you hand over the keys, there's no going back — and by then, you’ve already wasted your time if you were expecting anything close to the online quote. The whole experience felt more like a bait-and-switch than a transparent transaction. If you care about getting a fair deal, I strongly suggest trying other platforms like Motorway or selling privately.

Poor customer service - very inflexible and unhelpful! I was surprised at lack of human empathy as I was dealing with a bereavement sale on behalf of elderly widow, and the inflexibility - in that the sales guy did not agree to view the car even though the elderly widow was unable to drive - the sales guy was very local (5mins drive ) the car was high value item 11k and he showed no interest! This was in. Boston UK - the widow went with another dealer who was extremely helpful and empathetic too.

Although the service is quick and organized the difference between offer price and actual price is shocking. After my spent time alone with my car damage appeared which was not there 30 mins earlier when I washed it
