They offered me £900 on Monday, so I booked my appointment for Sunday. When I got to my appointment they offered me £300 and said the offer had expired. They did not mention when booking the appointment that it would expire after I booked my appointment.

After all this time you still have not refunded my £25 I can not speak to any one as you never answer the phone in 64 years you must be the worst company to deal with I would never recommend you and I tell everyone to steer clear of you

After receiving their on-line quote and repeated reminders I called in at their local depot. Whilst I'm sure many customers say this my Porsche, 26, 000 miles was immaculate. It seemed to me their representative recognised this and after a pretty brief walk around the car he went straight to the front of the car, clearly hoping to find a few stone chips which of course he did ( a few small) and, ignoring the otherwise perfect condition of the car, screwed me with a £516 deduction from their on-line valuation. To then take my car and expect me to wait 4 days to be paid, by which time they’d have sold it on adds insult to injury. Of course, like other mugs, I paid the further fee of £24.75 to get the money owed to me next day. Never again.

The worst experience ever! I sold my car to wbac and its been a nightmare from hell, I booked my appointment online and took a day off work to drop my car off to a branch in feltham, when I arrived there was one member of staff in a small makeshift office in the middle of a cinema car park, as I pulled up the chap came out looked at the car, and then couldn't find the vehicle on the wbac system which was odd as I had already been given a price online. wbac could not find my vehicle on their system (which they had already given me a price for which is why I agreed to sell my car to them) they tried to offer me £6,000 less than I was quoted online, I had to personally find the model on the wbac system which they did finally agree to pay me, the paperwork was done and I received a invoice with a promise to pay by the next day as I had paid for a faster payment so I left the car on their premises. Later that day I received a call from wbac stating that they required some more information i.e. my purchase invoice and proof of payment, I sent everything across and this is when my nightmare got even worse, wbac contacted me to say that they want to inspect the condition of the car and offer me a discounted price for my car, I rejected that option as I could have sold it for more to their competitors whom actually offered me more money for it, I requested that my car us returned to the branch I dropped it to in the same running condition but thats when all the communications stopped, I have emailed the talk to us now system atleast 5 times with no response other than a 1 line Email that I received after 3 days, and then when I replied I had to wait another 3 days for another 1 line reply, all I want is my car back so that I can get back my property, I have not been paid, my vehicle was dropped at wbac on 05/10/2021 and today is the 13/05/2021, I received a email yesterday to state that the vehicle has broken down and that it is my responsibility to collect the car at my expense from a British car auctions location in blackbushe, wbac are refusing to deliver my car back to me and have stated that I have sold them a car with historic faults when in actual fact I have a old bca assured report when the car was sold through British car auctions to the last owner and it was sold with no faults so I do not understand why I was told that the car had historic faults, I now have a car that is a non runner sitting in a auction site and it is now my responsibility to collect my car at my expense even though wbac took it there and the vehicle apparently broke down in their possession, I have emailed and called and called (they never answer any calls and have limited telephone numbers that you can call). Please stay away from this rip off business or you will learn the hard way like I have, I am now instructing a solicitor to claim damages to my property

Absolute scammers. Arrived with car for valuation. Small chip on front bumper 1mm diameter. Small mark on rear arch 9mm. Offered me £900 less than offer and told me to come back next day with repairs done to get full price. I went back, different person on site. Tried to find loads more wrong, dent on bonnet ( not there) stone chips that were black specs she wiped off. They refused to ring the manager as he was in a restaurant having a meal. The staff were on the phone to them when i arrived sorting out there social life. Got hold of him then ok!! Left, don't ever use this company. They rely on people desperate for money then rip them off. Phillip Schofield should be ashamed to be associated with these scammers.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. Please note, we would only ever reduce a valuation if a customer is outside of their 4 day Price Promise period, or if there are discrepancies between the information that a customer provided us with online and the vehicle itself. We’re sorry that on this occasion the final price offered failed to meet with your expectations. This said; we offer a no obligation service which means if the price we offer isn’t acceptable, you are never under any obligation to sell to us. Thanks, The WBAC Team
WHY CAN YOU NOT GIVE ZERO STARS? AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. (Norwich sprowston branch) agreed to buy our land rover for x amount... we were happy. They signed all papers and said money would be in 3days layer, day before money was due we get an email to say that the vin number didn't match the car so they thought it had been in an accident so they lowered the offer by 13 THOUSAND POUNDS! obviously we said no, this car is immaculate and had under 30k miles... so we said we would pick it up, problem is we buy any car.com didn't know where our car has been TAKEN! and they were less than helpful to find out even blocking my partners number from their phones, he had to borrow other phones just to talk to anyone!!!! Then said they couldn't get it back, they had stolen our car!!!! This has left us needing to work with no kinds of transport, I've got 2 kids that have had to get taxis to school costing a fortune. We've been worried sick. Weeks later they found it and we've managed to pick it up but I'd NEVER recommend this absolutely heartless people/company to anyone. I haven't been able to work through stress. They need to be shut down. We have taken legal advice.

Hi Cesare, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry if you were disappointed with your experience. We'd really appreciate it if you could update your review with some more details regarding your experience so we can look to resolve this for you. Thanks, The WBAC Team
Quoted £9400 and wasnt told how long this offer was valid for, they then gave me a appointment date after the expiry date, they said the new quote was £600 less and also took off £400 for damage that wasnt there, I then got emails after signing paperwork for my new valuation which was only £260 less, after going back to the branch, they told me there is nothing they can do since i have already signed the paperwork

I was quoted £460 on the web for 2008 Ford Focus Climate which is in use and excellent condition. It has all 5 New Tyres and a Premium Roof Rack) I was instructed to take it to the Milton Keynes (Homepage Carpark) Kiosk. On arrival the WeBuyAnyCar Employee/Representative told me the car is worth £50 (Fifty Pounds only) The Company is a SCAM and totally wasted my time. Needless to say, I did NOT sell and will NEVER do any business with them. All customers should stay away from WeBuyAnyCar.com if they value their car and time.

They give you an inflated valuation to lure you in then offer you much, much less with some of the most laughably creative reasoning I’ve ever heard. Any enhancements or upgrades to your car? Forget it, it only works in their favour. I know of no other purchase where you have to pay to get your money and if you don’t pay it takes them 4 working days to pay you - and that’s on top of the admin fee you have to pay. Outrageous way of doing business. Dodgy, sharp practice and nasty. Avoid.

Sold my car, all was good till they don't pay and keep the car to themselves! Such criminal how they can get away with such things!

They offer an online price to get you there. When you arrive they tell you the car has clearly been looked after then attempt to chip £1000 off a £16000 car, including an imaginary mark on the bumper that drops £480 off eve valuation. There was and is no mark and I suspect was simply a device to get from what the prices they really wanted to pay was. The car has gone to Cazoo for £300 more than the WBAC on-line offer. I guess WBAC works Ba trade in but otherwise I’d suggest Wizzle or Cazoo.

Absolute shocking... my car in excellent condition ....took £1200 off valuation for 3 x scratches and a mark on bumper...2 x scratches wiped off with a wet finger, so not scratches, other one was very difficult to see and would have t cut out....Mark on bumper was size of matchstick head and wouldve cost a quid to not notice... Avoid at all costs....they decide they gonna find marks before see your car..wasted a hour of my life

Online valuation was good for a 3. 5 year old Audi, so I booked an appointment, on viewing the car the valuation dropped by 1k and no real reason was given, he just claimed it was "the system" when he put the information into his ipad, he just claimed it was probably stonechips on the bonnet which he couldn't actually see but knew they would be there as it was three years old. However I did decide to sell it to them so contract was agreed and signed. I was then told I wouldn't receive the money until the following Thursday, 6 days after the sale! 5 days later I have been contacted by their compliance team and because I didn't purchase the car from a main dealer they have cancelled the contract and will be returning the car. I was asked where the car was purchased from at the time, it was a private purchase. Absolute complete waste of time! So beware.... So it's 'webuyanycar on our terms and we can change our mind at any point after the sale'. I could fight this as I don't believe the clause in the contract actually entitles them to cancel but at the end of the day I know I would receive more by selling privately. My advice is don't waste your time with them.

Went to sell our Nissan Juke, happy with price but then they couldn’t get a picture of the chassis number (the one in the engine) so wouldn’t buy the car despite it being visible in the windscreen and on the sticker on the door and it matching the V5. 1.5 hours of time wasted, The representatives language was appalling (didn’t bother me personally but others would have been offended) Took my car elsewhere and got same price. Nissan drivers beware!

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. They want your car way below the book price value and they have the cheek to charge you an admin fee. For peace of mind sell your car privately dont waste your time with these vultures.

We had an appointment at the Enfield branch at 14:40 today, however when we got there we was told there was a short wait of 30 minutes, however 30 minutes later the member of staff said he will be with us in 5 minutes, so we waited another 50 minutes and by the time I went back to him he told I had two more people before me, and when I approached the member of staff he was really unprofessional telling me he hasn’t had lunch all day and his the only one working - which I said to him i sympathise with but why did he falsely promise me he can see me when I booked 4 days in advance and waited more then 2 hours to get a valuation on my car - this is really poor service and very very disappointed especially being a customer and using your services on many occasions before.

Got a quote on line for £750 Well below value but figured it was convenient and supposedly hassle free Turned up and was offered £350 Nothing wrong with the car and as described for sure In the end sold through Wizzle for £950 Why? What a waste of time, probably preying on the people who need to sell Don't do it! Sell on eBay Wizzle or somewhere elae

My daughter has a low mileage citroen C1 with MOT and full service history. She accurately described her car online and was offered £5200. Following an inspection this was reduced to £2119 even the member of staff was embarrassed and knew we were going to reject the offer.
