As per my previous review. The service was terrible and the 'Branch Manager' did not have a clue what he was doing. I was on my hands and knees looking for a chassis number as he couldn't find it, and I also needed a copy of my VAT certificate which I didn't have as it was not in the list of documents requested. His software on the tablet wouldn't work for 40 minutes as it was updating so we both had to stand and wait as well which was a complete waste of my time. Very poor service and I will not be using again. I know it was my choice to sell to them and there is no obligation, but when you have organised a lift from 30 miles away and have a rough price given so put all plans in place, they know they have you hooked if not completely caught. Steer Clear.

Aweful service, agreed a price and exchanged my car for a contract which they broke and never paid... then gave me a lower offer which was so low it didn't make sense to sell the car.. Really unexpected cannot recommend

Rip off, value your car to get you in then find a way to knock down the price, I have worked in the motor industry for over 20 years but thought this company owned by British Car Auctions (BCA) own Cinch and have just purchased shares in the Dealer Group Lookers would be reputable.. but No they are not. I am not a disgruntled customer who did not describe the condition of the car correctly and feels aggrieved, they valued my car correctly then when i arrived they knocked me down by nearly £2,000!!! by this time i had committed to another car on finance and driven with my partner to collect me so i was some waht commited, My car was well above BVRLA standards and even the purson valuing the vehicle let on they do this alot, value you to get you in then knock your price down.. and by the way, what Philip Scofield also forgets to tell you in the advert is, they will pay you the mony the next day, but, you have to pay £24 for the prvledge #weripyouoff.com

Offer much less than quote - be warned

Wouldn’t use them again

These people are trained to “ steal your car from you” the offer will never be good will it so wise up and don’t waste your time

Offered a decent price online went to have a so called quick look over the car then offered quarter of what they offered online all I can say is stay well away

Wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. They make low offer then increase it by a couple of grand after few days then offer a further increase. Why can’t they offer realistic price at the outset? Will then try to knock you down when the see it! Taking advantage of vulnerable and cash strapped people who don’t know any better! That’s why they use squeaky clean Schofield to front the scam.

QUOTED ONLINE OFFER WAS REDUCED AT OFFICE VIST, BY £1800 FOR WHAT HE CLAIMED WERE CHIP MARKS, 1 ON BUMPER, 1 ON REAR BUMPER, AND SCUFFS ON ALLOYS. COMPLETE RIP OFF, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

An absolute waste of time. The online offer for my daughter 2015 audi was £10635. I am in the trade so I know what I am looking at and this is a 2 owner from new car with a full main dealer service history, two keys and even in the words of their girl who evaluated the car it was 'mint'. Despite this the offer on the day was £9600 less a £75 admin fee. I questioned this and she stared off into space saying well thats the offer. A total waste of time and false advertising AVOID

Ask more questions at the start to save a wasted journey. My initial enquiry was accurate but offered 20% less at my appointment. I wouldn’t have gone if l had known that was how it worked

Absolute joke! When you get a quote online then actually go to the branch they offer you 70% less!! Total waste of time. Staff also very rude!!

£1200 offered on web. Bear in mind there is full service history, verified mileage, good bodywork and no mechanical problems - as per input. £830 offered on site by sales guy. WBAC had offered us an appointment, then asked if we wanted it sooner - we rang to confirm we could do it sooner, the telephone operator sent us to the wrong branch. We then tried several times to ring them - their customer service number was just ringing out each time - no reply. left several messages. No response. The branch it had been booked into rang to ask why we were not there after 20 mins of waiting in the cold, so we went all the way to that branch just to be given this ridiculous valuation. Won't be using them again

Not very friendly got told a price on my car when I took my car they gave me a substantial low price and a low valuation and as I was stuck I had no option other than to take there offer think you at we buy any car are nothing more than scumbags and prey on people who are in a low point in there life 😡😡😡😡😡

Got an online quote of £10300 and thought it was ok reasonable for the car compared with Parkers trade values. I got to the webuyanycar site and the guy was running late so I asked how long he'd be and went to get a coffee while waiting. When I got back he hardly spoke except to say 'V5', 'service history records', and then walked around car. And then he said £8700. I said that's way off what you quoted - £1600 less. They do not stick to their valuation. He agreed car was exactly as described. Basically they lie to get you to go in. They are con men and I suspect they take advantage of vulnerable people who need the cash. I said that I'd been offered £9500 tradein and he shrugged and just walked off. Unbelievably rude, I don't recommend, and would never go back.

If anyone is looking to sell there car in (Cap clean condition), you should expect to reduce your online valuation by over 10%. After getting an £8,000 online valuation we were offered £7,370 due to stone chips on the bumper. Today the vehicle was taken into the body shop to have the bumper repaired. 16:30 appointment today at we buy any car (LINCOLN) bumper was great condition after the work, but two tiny stone chips on the bonnet MINUS £390 and one on the drivers door Minus £140 (this has been touched in but not to a NEW CAR FINISH) plus a £75 admin fee..... So the bottom line is if you get any small problems sorted out they will do everything & anything they can to find new ones. My advice sell private. Don't be missled with you online valuation as you will NEVER get it, Just a waste of time.

Selling to Webuyanycar started out well but was ultimately pretty disappointing and a waste of my time and company representative. I had an initial quote on a weekday and 2 days later the car was reassessed by a different employee and I was told it was worth around 20% less. The second valuer suggested that the first had missed a number or factors that would reduce the value. These factors were all assessed in the initial valuation. Fortunately I was not in a situation where I needed the sale immediately so have walked away and gone with an alternative option. Not ideal, and a waste of time. I am also left questioning the integrity of the webuyanycar employee who carried out the second vehicle appraisal. For these reasons I wouldn’t consider using them again for a valuation or sale.
