Driving in to Holiday in car park, where you was based, me and my family who were also looking to sell there cars got 3 parking tickets. We were parked talking to your staff. They didn't even advise us that parking tickets were needed

Poor customer service, served a customer booked in after us with no reason. It must have been the employees personal choice to do this and no reason given for the 40 minute wait for no reason.

Communication is awful

Accidentally left some valuables in the car. Not able to be returned

I kept calling this company regarding my valuation. As I had electric car and battery was on lease. There is no option to highlight if main battery is on lease. I made an appointment and as expected they refused to buy my car on agreed price. Total wastage of my time.

Entered my details on the website Got a valuation Turned up and they offered me half if what I was quoted! No reason, car was as described and the guy said it was just ‘a live valuation’ Its a con, if you are ok to sell at any cost then ok but this is like dealing with a dodgy second hand car dealer. Waste of time, sold on eBay for 3 times what i was offered. Make the effort and w give in to this

Do yourself a favour and just part x. The price We Buy give online is nowhere near the price they offer when you take the car in. Very disingenuous. Oh and if you complain they magically increase the price. But not to the level they quote you or to the part x value.

The worst company, followed by extremely poor customer service. Took my BMW I8 and then decided they wanted to cancel the purchase after being a day late paying, still awaiting an exact date of when my vehicle will be returned. This company has been warned by trading standards before about there poor service and shady business practices. Avoid at all costs

I had an appointment in Melton Mowbray. 3 Days before it i had an email reminder. 2 days before i had a phone call to remind me,. i went down foran appointment witrh my car. I arrived 10 minutes early, The site was an office complex with various buildings, but nothing to tell me where webuyanycar was. I searched for 15 mins and asked someone. It was a keycard entry, i couldnt get in. They also said no one had been in their office all day. What a total wase of time!!!! Dont bother with them.

Went into Castleford we buy any car, shocking customer service. No ‘hello, how are you’ was met by a man who was smoking a cigarette who said ‘giv us a minute’ then for him to stub his cigarette out right next to my car sit straight in my car which now smells of smoke. Shocking service no smile or anything, kids were around and he didn’t care less that he was smoking on the job and just lacked any people skills

I recently sold my car through this company and still had some finance left to pay on my car which webuyanycar was supposed to settle for me, however, 8 days after, my finance company who I had my car with called and advised me I had missed a payment and added a late fee on the money I “owed” when this should have been settled days ago. Not only has this stressed me out as I’m taking time out of my work day to try and sort, it’s now effected my credit which I have worked on for a long time. I’ve been looking at cars which now, since my credit being effected, the APR has gone up where I have this missed payment on my credit report. I have been trying to contact them but majorly busy at work and by the time I got home they’re closed. Even after this gets sorted, it’s still going to take at least a month for my credit to go back up and that’s if that’s if that’s possible so now I’m going to have to wait another month without a car all because this company couldn’t do what they said they would do. I could have taken all the money from the car and paid the finance off but they offered to do this. Why, I do not know?

Got a quote took my car, not really expecting what they offered me. They offered me £1200 less then quoted on line. Which I thought was a complete waste of my time going to appointment.Because I only had 1 key and a scratch on door which had been repaired car by Vauxhall and was on car when I brought it from dealer, car is 9 years old and only 2 owners from new, plus had low mileage wouldn’t waste your time going to appointment unless your car is less than a year old and you have had it in bubble wrap since driving off show room forecourt. No happy to say the least. Should have listened to all my friends and colleague saying they aren’t a good company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback Sabrina, we appreciate your comments. We’re sorry that on this occasion the final price offered failed to meet with your expectations. This said; we offer a no obligation service which means if the price we offer isn’t acceptable, you are never under any obligation to sell to us. We use exactly the same pricing system on our website as our buyers do in branch. Therefore if the condition/details of the car entered online matches our assessment of your car, then we offer a price which matches the online valuation. However if the details provided online are not accurate this will affect the final price offered. Thanks, The WBAC Team
Ridiculous offer possibly something wrong with their website which knows wouldn't bother with them

Hi Deborah, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, we really appreciate it. We’re really sorry if the valuation wasn’t what you wanted for your vehicle. Our business offers people the chance to get an online valuation, which asks you to provide us with a range of information including age and mileage. We use this information to provide you with an online valuation. We have a team of Pricing Analysts who are constantly monitoring the value of used cars. They track various factors such as demand, availability of a particular model and current sale prices we are experiencing for such vehicles. Our online valuations are calculated in response to their findings. We don't claim to offer the best price in every instance, but what we do offer is a safe, quick and hassle free alternative to selling your vehicle. If you are looking to secure the most amount of money, selling directly to a private buyer can often help to achieve this. Thank you, The WBAC Team
I had pre booked my appointment a week beforehand. Got to the pod and didn't even get an acknowledgement. Was very unprofessional with the whole thing. Had my car evaluated and knocked £1000 off for a few scratches. Won't ever be using this service again. Was an hour of my time I'll never back. He was more interested in the walk ins then my actual pre booked appointment.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, we appreciate your comments. We’re really sorry if the customer service that you received on this occasion fell short of both yours and our expectations. This isn’t the level of service we would expect you to receive and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your review will indeed be fed back and any relevant additional training/support will be provided. We do trust this to be an isolated incident and hope that you will consider webuyanycar.com again in the future. We’re really sorry if the amount offered wasn’t what you had hoped for. With that said, we do offer a no obligation service, meaning if there’s any aspect of the service, that isn’t right for you, you’re under no obligation to sell to us. Thank you, The WBAC Team
Quoted me £895 for my car to get me there, then when I got there quoted me £220 because its a previous category N (repaired non serious cosmetic damage), despite the fact they'd have definitely known this from their initial search. I can only surmise that they purposefully quote you a reasonable offer to get you there then cut it when you turn up in the hopes you'll let it go at a huge discount. I won't ever be going back to them.

1 star as 0 isn’t an option. Terrible customer service at best, illegal practises at worst. Sale agreed and contracted so they took car away, but no money received. 4 days later they want to undo the contract with no explanation and refusing to pay as per contract. Still no car returned or money received. Disgraceful company.

The customer service was appaling - told me my 13 year old car should be in showroom condition. Will sell privately for over £1000 more than you initially offered. Thanks but no thanks.

Renewal car insurance valued my car at a market price of £7350 insurance companys always offer the lowest market value so I thought I would check we buy any car and they offered me just £4250 that's over £3000 of a difference I know they have over heads but so does the insurance company how can they justify the huge difference. Do not use.

I'm Mr Anonymous and I've been employed to write anonymous 5 star reviews for WBAC, of course they are all fake but they offered me a considerable amount of money for my service, Unfortunately when my cheque arrived it was half the amount that was offered to me

Absolutely disgraceful company ripping off thousands of car sellers with misrepresented pricing and bad business practices. They need to be investigated and held to account. Hope BBC does a panorama investigation and expose their unethical business model. Management should be ashamed of appalling practices!
