Getting my money back turned into a very frustrating and stressful experience for me recently. I felt powerless and overwhelmed, not knowing how to fix the problem. Friendly staff and very efficient paperwork - all electronic. Was hard to find the location in Braintree - perhaps a telephone number to contact if in difficulty? Got hammered on the price - 34% reduction on the 'guarenteed price" - read the small print...

It didn't. The service was slick and friendly but the initial offer was reduced by 40%. Reason given was 2 very small repaired paint chips classed as having been paint and body repairs. Ridiculous, never use them again.

Very disappointed with the money l got, but having been widowed, l had no choice than to sell my darling husband's car. The We Buy Any Car chap was kind, talkative and made the process easy as possible.

barnstaple staff were great booking appoinment was great. payment was prompt and great. but gettting a speeding fine through the post... after they took possesion was not great.... where who why what was my ex car doing speeding...when it had no mot etc.... lol

The person I delt with was ok. The final quote was half the quote on the Internet. What a waste of my time. Have sold the cat for three times there offer. Wouldn't ever use again

Well obviously the price quoted is not the one you get. After you tear the car to pieces you get to the real price, your price. Take it or leave it

Prompt service and dealth with the sale very well, kept informed throughout and money paid in fairly quickly. Valuation could always be more but it's to be expected that you will never get what you paid out for it. It is quick and easy though. Exmouth branch, would recommend. Thankyou.

Unfortunately there was a complication added to the sale due my having recently registered the car but that was resolved after a few terse emails. Otherwise it was a reasonably pain free transaction.

Person I dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful and efficient. Was slightly disappointed because the price they quote to get you to the appointment and the one you received is normally very different but I expected some down grade. Also there is no excuse to charge such a large banking fee to get your own sales proceeds quicker.

I think the bit before you get to the appointment needs to be more accurate, £600 difference between online quote and on the day quote. The full process is east in the respective of selling a car quickly though.

Chris was great. The price you offer on the we is purely to entice people in and give them false hope. The gap between web and the actual offer is big.

Pros: Quick and professional. Respectful and friendly car technician. Process easy and pleasant. No stress. Mid: First value too low,2nd better and £400 lower than hoped for. Cons: £75 fee shouldn't be required. Also a wait of 4 working days for bank transfer for payment bit ridiculous, why hold on for that long (6 days in my case because of weekend). Always comes over as a bit dodgy when companies do this, although they will transfer next day if you pay them extra £30. Hence for this reason only, a 2 star reduction.
