The person I delt with was ok. The final quote was half the quote on the Internet. What a waste of my time. Have sold the cat for three times there offer. Wouldn't ever use again

Was a little upset at price in end but person dealing with it was very polite and explained things that they look for.

Well obviously the price quoted is not the one you get. After you tear the car to pieces you get to the real price, your price. Take it or leave it

Don’t take your car to we buy any car.cowboys.sell to motorway. No administration fee. You have been warned

Prompt service and dealth with the sale very well, kept informed throughout and money paid in fairly quickly. Valuation could always be more but it's to be expected that you will never get what you paid out for it. It is quick and easy though. Exmouth branch, would recommend. Thankyou.

Price online is good but when you bring your car and assess is deference price , is not good.
Helpful Report
Disappointed as the quoted price guarantee was not honoured despite no faults found.
Helpful Report
Does anyone get anything near the valuation? I've used them twice and they've knocked off a few hundred quid both times.
Helpful Report
Unfortunately there was a complication added to the sale due my having recently registered the car but that was resolved after a few terse emails. Otherwise it was a reasonably pain free transaction.

Person I dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful and efficient. Was slightly disappointed because the price they quote to get you to the appointment and the one you received is normally very different but I expected some down grade. Also there is no excuse to charge such a large banking fee to get your own sales proceeds quicker.

What was disappointed with the payment I received after being told the valuation of my car

I think the bit before you get to the appointment needs to be more accurate, £600 difference between online quote and on the day quote. The full process is east in the respective of selling a car quickly though.

Chris was great. The price you offer on the we is purely to entice people in and give them false hope. The gap between web and the actual offer is big.

Pros: Quick and professional. Respectful and friendly car technician. Process easy and pleasant. No stress. Mid: First value too low,2nd better and £400 lower than hoped for. Cons: £75 fee shouldn't be required. Also a wait of 4 working days for bank transfer for payment bit ridiculous, why hold on for that long (6 days in my case because of weekend). Always comes over as a bit dodgy when companies do this, although they will transfer next day if you pay them extra £30. Hence for this reason only, a 2 star reduction.

The only thing I don't agree with is, you offer one price, but when you take your car to sell you deduct money off for so many things that I didn't agree with. I was offered 1380.00 but then offered 845.00 that's a huge difference. I agree for some of them I.e MOT less than 6 months but saying I had dents, that's not true.

The method of valuation when you get to the office is not explained during the on line valuation process. I was surprised that a 5 year old car was expected to be in showroom condition when presented for purchase. A few stone chips and normal wear and tear reduce the category and thus valuation significantly. I wonder if I had paid a professional valet company a few hundred pounds they would have still had the original price reduced by £500. They don’t add anything on for pre paid services either. Surely when you are selling a car to the trade they should expect to prepare it for the showroom. I’m not so sure that Phillips reputation is as good with me today as it was yesterday.

Left waiting at the office I had made arrangements, had a call whilst there to go to another office. Then offered two hundred pounds less than originally offered because of a biased viewing (said the car was very good with low mileage) giving it only a 3 out of 5 and paid £49.99 for the privilege. Not happy.

Customer service was great but price was way lower than expected.
Helpful Report
It is a speedy service and very convenient. Be aware that the price initially given is subject to a £50 admin fee, as well as deductions for any faults found with the car. There is also a deduction of value if MOT is due within 6months of sale date. Not very transparent when giving the initial sale price for the car. I also found our local service centre difficult to locate. The address given on the confirmation email was not actually the address where I needed to drop the car. The agent that I dealt with was very friendly and straightforward.
