“Quick and efficient service. We have used We Buy Any car three times. The only criticism is the price quoted initially is overstated to get you in and never offered when the vehicle is inspected.”

“Got a fair price for car. Efficient service. However, they said they would return the V5 after sale and this was never done so I lost out on my road tax refund. Don’t leave them to do this!”

Hi there, thanks for leaving us a review. We don't return the V5 as this goes to the new registered keeper. If you notify the DVLA of your sale, your tax refund will automatically be processed. - The WBAC Team

“It was simple and easy. Frustrating that for 3 weeks afterwards kept emailing me saying car had increased in value even though I'd already sold it to them!, last valuation was £2,500 more than they paid me!”

“Oko should price halved but needed to get rid of car but they took the log book which is causing issues for us cancelling tax and letting dvla know of sale I now have to write to them ? How does that work ?”

“What I was quoted was no where near what I received. The car had 12 months MOT and was in good condition and all information was given when quoted. The actual price was only two thirds what was quoted although the salesman agreed it was in good condition?? I feel the quote on line was just to get me to the nearest point where I could go which was 50 miles away. Very disappointed.”

We can see that you attended an appointment back in January when we were in lockdown and as such, a number of our branch's, such as your local branch, were closed as we're sure you can appreciate. This did unfortunately mean that if anyone needed to sell their vehicle and chose webuyanycar.com, there may have been some cases where the journey to a branch was a little longer than usual. We can also see that whilst obtaining your online valuation, you didn't detail the condition of your car. At your appointment, however, we found £487 worth of damages and missing components. We’re sorry that on this occasion the final price offered failed to meet with your expectations. This said; we offer a no obligation service which means if the price we offer isn’t acceptable, you are never under any obligation to sell to us. - The WBAC Team

Hi Anne, thanks for your feedback. Tax returns are handled by the DVLA. Looking at their website, they advise that refunds are generally made within 8 weeks. - The WBAC Team
