Lady was friendly and polite but I still feel she’s was undervaluing my car but as I needed the cash I sold it.

I was expect the minimum offer more money in car.

Give you a quote to get you in the door - and then drop the price saying that the quote is only for showroom cars. £700 is a big drop!! especially for a car in very good condition

What you see isn’t necessarily what you get…

Having arranged an appointment time, no one turned up. I had already arranged a taxi to take me home. When I contacted the buyer he apologised and said he was busy with another customer. My unused taxi fare was £15. I returned to the same site today at the appointed time and waited. I eventually found somebody who told me how to connect with the buyer. The buyer apologised and told me he was awaiting my call from the lobby. Eventually we met. The deal was almost concluded when I was informed my Nat West card had no account number or sort code and the transaction could not be completed. I returned home and retrieved the relevant documentation and at the third attempt the transaction was concluded. Could I suggest: 1. At the Fareham branch you specify exactly how to contact your buyer on arrival and do not have to spend precious time walking around an empty lobby asking strangers how to contact IBAC.com. 2. You advise customers that you require documentation/card that gives the account number and sort code - some Nat West cards may not contain that information. 3. Your agent Brian is more easily contactable. Finally, thank you Brian for your patience today, Regards Bernie Bernhardt

Easy transaction but the extra charges that they throw at you for admin and then another charge to get your money within 2 hours are ridiculous.

Clickbait quotes that they will never honour. As long as you go in prepared for that they are pleasant, easy to deal with and efficient.

The process was simple and painless provided you are not expecting top dollar for your car

Because of 1 fixed price and no room for movement

Too many additional cost were hidden in the small print. These come as a surprise during the meeting. It seems you price high and then find every reason to lower the final offer

Positive; the sales office was very close to my house, about a mile away. Negative; they offer me a far less than the price given to me at the beginning. I could appreciate it if my car was not in particularly good condition, but I looked after my Mercedes I was very disappointed to get the money I received.

Was given a price £2500 lower than a friend with same vehicle and over £1000 lower than the online quote

I am happy with the easy process, but the cost you put on repairs is extortionate. £165 for a 18” diamond cut wheels is not a fair price. It would cost a consumer around £150 at a main dealer. Therefore, it is not costing £165 in the trade. I’m also not convinced they will even get refurbished, in which case, why has that been deducted from the price?

The whole process of selling your car is quick and straightforward and overall a good experience if money is not your key motivation. However, the initial valuation I felt was very misleading and I landed up with more than 10% taken off the quote. It seems the valuation is unrealistically based on a 'perfect car' even though mine was 6 years old. Most 6-year-old cars have a couple of door dents and chips on the bonnet from motorway driving, the valuation should take this into account. I was told my car's model was not exactly as specified (nowhere on the website allowed this 'variation' to be specified) and the alloy wheels had slight corrosion. The alloys annoyed me as I was selling a 6-year-old car and so they had 6 years of ageing, wear and tear - that should be taken into account with the initial valuation in my view - the price should not have been reduced because they weren't perfect. The buyer gave some leeway on the overall reduction but his hands it seems were tied by the system they use.

My appointment had to be rearranged at another branch but the guy saw us although it was later than scheduled as he was really busy . I had got a valuation on my car but the offer was quite a lot below the valuation - he said it was admin and other costs which are not displayed in the advert
