I was given a online valuation of my car for £895 and when arriving at the shop I was told the most they would give me was £450 which I think is ridiculous

Was good in the main. Quick and easy if you need to get rid of a car quick, don’t want the hassle of selling and are happy with the price they give you. However, you need to be exact with your mileage (if you have to do more miles between when you log it and arrive with them), mot date, alloy damage each wheel etc or they will take about 50 pound off for each of those which all adds up. The other way round, they won’t give you any more or hold the price if your tyres, pads, discs are new like mine were.

they didnt i have not got my money yet after paying faster payment

Chap was friendly and explained everything well. Downside is they always undervalue your vehicle - say one thing to get you there and then automatically take 10-20% of that. I sold anyway. I took me to chase for 2 week to get the documents sent to me.

The process was easy I followed all rules took all paperwork as requested, easy fair price all agreed. You will be paid in 24hrs. Well not really 24hrs. Ok so Sunday, Monday no payment Tuesday no payment, got paid after I told them pay me today or get my car from where ever you have transported it to back to my home address today. There is no contact number called the branch no answer call other branch’s after call 4, I get answer. Finally someone tells me the issue oh your car was expensive there for we need more paper. Why did no one contact me oh well the sales rep was on holiday so no one deals with an issue. The service was quick easy but after care when goes wrong shocking. Oh will give back the 25 quid you paid extra so you where paid in 24hr why thanks. Left a bitter taste. I have to say the sales rep when returned from holiday was really help ful.

Very critical with supposed damage! Knocked money off for a microscopic stone chip that couldn’t be seen. Paid for quick payment and it wasn’t done!

Overall I was satisfied with the price I eventually got and the whole process was actually very quick and well managed, however I was disappointed that the salesman insisted that my car had "dents" in it and reduced the price offered by £300. When I pointed out that the car was immaculate and the "dents" he was pointing out was simply a little tar picked up from the road surface and I actually removed the tar with my finger, he insisted that it would have dented the car and had to reduce the amount offered. I felt as though he was determined to reduce the price offered at any cost and it soured the whole experience in the end making me feel as though they were out to rip me off, hence my lower score. It was a disappointing end to what had been up to that point an easy and pleasant experience.

Do not anticipate getting the initial offer. While it may seem attractive, their job is to chip away. Any tiny chip even in a five year old car gets a reduction. Unless the car is still in its wrapper, which is want they want do not hold you hopes too high.

The service was performed quickly, but the "processing fee" wasn't really made clear until the offer was made. Might be worth making it more clear on the website or in the email follow-ups once a slot is booked.

Offered £4,400 online. Guy went over an 8 year old car with a fine tooth comb expecting it to be showroom condition “Well, some cars are” were his words!!! Eventually offering £3,500. Only accepted because the new car was arriving imminently. For me this is a ‘last resort’ method of selling a car. Will be more organised and go elsewhere next time.

Was offered 4600 for my car but got 3900 which I thought was better price than I thought it was worth was intialy offered 3800 and haggled and got the extra 100 but what was wrong with it was three little scratches nowhere near 800 pound to sort out. Sold it because it saved me from all the tyre kickers and new car sitting on drive

I sold my car through Webuyanycar at beginning of May. Process was smooth and I was happy with outcome at the time and left a review. However over two months on I’m still receiving emails from them telling me they have increased their valuation of my car! I’ve tried to contact them to stop this but no success. Rather taken the joy out of the experience as I’m left thinking I could have got more. Very strange way of marketing/customer service. Then I get an email asking for another review. Here it is!

It was a very simple process. They didn’t offer the price offered on the website they went lower which I kind of expected after looking at reviews!
