The offer price that tempted me to sell it and the actual price given in person were miles apart (£1700). The reason given was because of minimal bumper damage that really I should have sorted first. Probably £50 would cover it. Fuming at myself for this schoolboy error and this company for effectively ripping me off. Will never use them again.

Hi there, Thank you for leaving us your feedback, we really appreciate it and we apologise for any disappointment caused. This certainly wasn’t our intention. Please note that your valuation would only ever change at your appointment if you’re outside of your 4-day Price Promise, or if there are discrepancies between the way that you described your car online and the car itself, found at your appointment. This could include missing components, damages or discrepancies with mileage, previous owners or service history, for example. Such factors may impact the value of your car and as such, we would need to record this and amend your valuation accordingly, which we’re sure you can appreciate. We’re really sorry if the amount offered wasn’t what you had hoped for. With that said, we do offer a no-obligation service, meaning if there’s any aspect of the service, that isn’t right for you, you’re under no obligation to sell to us. Thanks, The WBAC Team
Misleading price quote and were told that a panel had been resprayed when it really didn’t look like it had. He said it had but we had to take his word for it and then he knocked off around £800. Unreasonable really

Customer service was great but the price offer was ridiculous. It’s only due to the time I had in the uk before heading off to work that I didn’t take it to a scrappy where I would have got so much more. Plus on the day it was £150 less than I was quoted

WBAC bought my car, sent me a sales invoice, then reneged on the deal because they misread the paperwork - despite my pointing out to the employee that the figure was the bubble amount and not final settlement. The employee admitted the mistake but WBAC were adamant they would not honour the deal. I was 3 days with no car, had already cancelled insurance, in the process of completing a new lease deal and had informed DVLA the car was sold. My car was driven back from a location 3 hours drive away, left with petrol on red - NO compensation offered, refused to give me a superior’s name - absolutely disgusted, completely dishonorable - do not touch with the proverbial barge pole … (and

Dodgy location in furthest corner of station car park. No introduction, only shows motif on tee shirt as proof. Expected cut but not more than 50% less….. Minus 10 rating

My partner works for We Buy Any Car. Don't pay their staff their bonuses correctly. Now hasn't paid him his wages this month leading to increased stress. Hasn't given him his annual leave despite it being agreed at interview. Not a company you would want to work for at all or trade with when they don't treat their staff fairly.

Knocked down heavily. Offered just 1/3rd of the valuation. RIP off merchants.

Was quoted a lower price than I wanted but went anyway On assessing the car I was told it’s in good condition with a few minor scratches On receiving the final figure which was almost well below the “quote” he explained that the scratches and marks on the alloys were a major contribution to the down turn in price He explained that they’d been there 15 years helping the people who need help I explained to him I believe you’re helping the needy by feeding their need Never even checked under the bonnet which I found baffling I am not in the needy category

Information from supplying reg no was totally wrong, your problem, when applying Information on screen was correct, checked, I would not have wasted a complete day to be told I didn't check details, which I did. Hope Philip Scofield, the totally incompetent, enjoys my money, totally unhappy with your service.

Webuyanycar used to be a good service where they check the basic and thats it job done. Now its like they assume you are a criminal and check every minute details. Generally, the sales people usually have the very uncomfortable aura. I rather scrap my motor next time then give to them. I used we buy car 3 times. The first one, I did not like the guy at all. He wanted to give me the lowest possible price. The 2nd guy was a great guy he gave me a fair price, 3rd the guy was checking every single thing. But anyway have not got time but never again…

We got a quote of £3.5k online. When we arrived we were told £2.7k. We walked away and they called us back through the door and it went up to £3.2. Complete bait and switch. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I have owned this car from when it was a showroom model. It had 39 miles on it when I bought it. I have looked after it over 6 years, only doing 5000 miles a year. I was disappointed when online you offered 13790, but then when I came in only 13214. For no reason. The car is immaculate. The only reason offered was scuffs on the near side alloys, I wouldn’t recommend you,

BEWARE. Offer price was 1100 but they paid only 504, less than half. I think they were dishonest with their offer and inflated it to get me in the door. I feel well and truly shafted.

Making people wait for the little money you give them for there car , rip off ,never will use you again

I wasn’t made aware of a potential price drop because I removed my private number plate. This made a £1000 price difference which I was not made aware of.

At my first visit 3 days ago i was contacted and advised that my retention certificate would validate my registration. At the premises that staff contsct advicd was flawed. I received my log book so returned and updated my valuation. Did not honour the updated higher valuation at my second visit. Literally manipulated to receive the lower valuation losing about ,£150. You hand over your car and documents to then wait 4 days for full payment. Unless you want to lose more money. Very unhappy and fed up. Very unprofessional behaviour.

had a terrible experience with them, they hassle you with emails, lure you in by putting the value of my car up and up then don't honor the price. I went back after the guy was rude and arrogant and said i have now added the tiny damage onto the valuation website and the price has gone up after 3 days, he said maybe they want hybrids like yours. I showed him the price I was quoted and he went through the paperwork and tablet he had and says, we'll give you xxxxx which was £450 less than the website had said after I had put on the damage. We had a heated discussion about webuyanycar being misleading, underhand, and a very poor way to run a business. In the end somehow "his tablet" said it would give me £250 more, so I sold it to them. When i left i said thanks and goodbye the rude guy wouldn't say thank you, or goodbye and just muttered something rude as I left. if you pay them peanuts , you get monkeys
