Deceptive business model, offering a pretty low price online with absolutely no intention of offering it on the day. No basis for offering a much lower price on the day.

not worth going to them, you are better off selling to a private buyer a car worth £2400 was bought by them for £500 hubby signed form before i told him not to, the staff member was rude and didnt even check half the things he was meant to. very disappointed by the service

What ever they offer you to start, you won't get, any minor blemishes they reduce the price drastically, my car had a slight scuff mark in the clear coat, which will polish out, and another mark on the boot, bear in mind the car is six years old. Apart from that the car was perfect. What did they take off the original quote, £600, they then charge to pay the money into your account. Don't tell you that on the TV do they.

This place gave me $33,000 quote online for my 2015 Escalade ESV. I know it valued nearer to $40,000 but knowing they need to make money l wasted my time going by the Apopka location. They quickly went down to $23k and it was a downward spiral to $10K. I ran straight to a dealership. I stop by We buy any Car and showed them my check for $25,000. They are a bunch of crooks!! I wish l could give no star. Highway Robbery!!!!

Despite putting all details into the website including the lack of service history and the salesman verifying my information was correct the quote I had was 5600 and in the end they offer only 4600. This was not on the basis of concerns over condition of the car etc. 5600 was low price anyway for a good car in better than average condition and relatively low mileage. I will say the man at the branch was very nice and at least looked sheepish at what the price offered was. The salesman himself

The guy we dealt with was brilliant and did a great job, but that good experience was soon forgotten. We were let down on what was promised with regard to paying off the Finance Company which saw them take the outstanding balance from my wife's bank account, causing her to go overdrawn for two days. Sloppy.

Told the valuation would be valid for 4 days, showed up within the 4 days and the valuation dropped by £460. Rude staff member, when I asked for a printed invoice he said ‘I’ve been selling cars for 6 years nothing is dodgy.’ At no point did I suggest anything was dodgy apart from the fact he argued with me about printing it. I’ve never sold a car so I wanted a hard copy for peace of mind as it was such a large amount of money. Wont be recommending.

We Buy Any Car review, once you have done the initial info and they give you the initial valuation, you are then inundated with improved offers. I received an improved offer and it was in the ball park I wanted for the car, I arranged an appointment, fully expecting may I add that the price I had been quoted would be drastically reduced at the appointment. I attended the appointment and the chap did his inspection, checked the paperwork and found no issues. He input all the details and as expected he advised me the offer for the car would be reduced by £1000+, total waste of my time!! There employee, who was a really nice guy, even said this is why the Company has a terrible reputation, his words not mine. This Company is leech feeding off people in desperate situations, tempting people in with offers they have no intention of honouring and knowing that a vast majority of people will not be able to refuse the lower offer. I would urge any one thinking of using WBAC to avoid them if at all possible.

The offer price that tempted me to sell it and the actual price given in person were miles apart (£1700). The reason given was because of minimal bumper damage that really I should have sorted first. Probably £50 would cover it. Fuming at myself for this schoolboy error and this company for effectively ripping me off. Will never use them again.

Misleading price quote and were told that a panel had been resprayed when it really didn’t look like it had. He said it had but we had to take his word for it and then he knocked off around £800. Unreasonable really

Customer service was great but the price offer was ridiculous. It’s only due to the time I had in the uk before heading off to work that I didn’t take it to a scrappy where I would have got so much more. Plus on the day it was £150 less than I was quoted

WBAC bought my car, sent me a sales invoice, then reneged on the deal because they misread the paperwork - despite my pointing out to the employee that the figure was the bubble amount and not final settlement. The employee admitted the mistake but WBAC were adamant they would not honour the deal. I was 3 days with no car, had already cancelled insurance, in the process of completing a new lease deal and had informed DVLA the car was sold. My car was driven back from a location 3 hours drive away, left with petrol on red - NO compensation offered, refused to give me a superior’s name - absolutely disgusted, completely dishonorable - do not touch with the proverbial barge pole … (and
