This is a dishonest company with unscrupulous practices as evident from the numerous lawsuits and official investigation brought against it for unfair trading practices. The online valuation given is a ridiculously inflated price designed purely to lure you to their site. Once you have wasted your time and petrol getting there, they will then massively undercut the offered price by nitpicking on the tiniest of flaws. Our car was in almost perfect condition with very minimal stone chipping at the front which is to be expected of any second-hand car, and a very small scratch on one back wheel less than 0.3mm long, yet they wanted to knock 8% off the value of the online quote. What a massive joke. Like all second-hand dealers, WBAC needs to resell your car for a profit and its salesmen need to get their % commissions. Therefore, they will never offer you as much value for your car as you can get selling it privately. Dealers should only be a last resort for those short on cash and looking for a quick sale without hassle, albeit at a significant loss. This is no excuse, however, for misleading its customers and wasting their time with promises made in bad faith that they have no intention to keep. If you are looking to sell your car, you can do better than WBAC.

The worst company ever. After lying about verified mileage on car even with hpi check and all mot certificates. Tried halving original offer. Decided to get car back. Only to receive car back minus a key and any documentation so therefore cannot tax car without v5. 6 days later still no documentation and refusal to answer any phone calls. They have no customer service number and the branch never answer phone.

Awful customer service after sale . I have waited 3 days for payment after paying for next working day payment I can't get hold of any one at branch as it’s been closed 2 days running despite being advertised as open on the website . I have called all near by branches for customer service phone number and not one branch has answered the phone . I have sent 5 emails to customer service and not even had acknowledgement . awful service !

My car from the drop down menu with the proper trim and extras was valued by them at 33000 but using the reg which didn’t include the level of trim just a basic model was showing as 29000. They wouldn’t budge so I said bye bye. This is a rip off if your car has a lot of extras.

Full details given and a “guaranteed price” of £7400 was offered. Took the car 10 miles to a grotty little shack by a car park and after all the tutting and sighing the rep gave I was offered £6400. After telling him I was disgusted with the obvious rip off and waste of time he bumped the price up to £6607. Told him it was worth more and he said “good luck with that” and then turned his back and ignored me. I sold the car to Arnold Clark the next day for £7200. You make your own mind up on whether they are ripping people off!!!!

We buy any car are CROOKS. They tempt you in with good prices and even if your car is as described and all good they then give you a ridiculously low offer!

Valuation a third of actual. I had a valuation of under a grand for my bow but actuaries values it at 3 TIMES THE VALUE. It seems that the value of money is going out of fashion as a trending fashion for millions.

Got offered 500 online took it to idiot who told me 50 quid biggest scam going. Poor old bloke in front off us got 150 for his car looked shocked and devastated horrible company.

Very rude staff! Didn’t look me in the face once whilst talking to me didn’t even look up from his desk. Very unprofessional and the offer I was finally made was 800 pounds less as a service stamp in the full history wasn’t written clearly just an excuse to get my immaculate C3 at a bargain price to them! Bad experience altogether

Was quoted £7000.00 for my car after putting all details in Got on site and before even looking at the car they said prior to inspection it would be £5100.00 They said their computer had made a mistake on original quote. Sounds like being ripped off to me. Absolute waste of time

Well, wish I had read this before I made 25 mile round trip to this scamming company. Seems to be same story. They quote a price( after knocking some money off for 1 key only available etc. You make an appointment, they look around, find problem, play with hand held p.c. and after pushing some buttons computer offers pittance. DONT FALL FOR IT! Sell it on market place or E bay ANYTHING rather them. I must say that I feel rather naive and won’t be mentioning it to the kids!

When entering details for an online quote, there was nowhere to list dents or rust. Online quote was £3250 but after onsite evaluation I was offered £50 and was told it was because of rust on arches and a couple of dents, it’s a 12 year old van. Complete waste of time, will never use again. Unless your vehicle is mint condition don’t waste your time.

Disgusting, went to the Denton branch on Saturday 24/7/21, asked if they was interested in buying my car grand voyager the person who was there on this day walked around the car checked it all over tapped the details into his tablet then came back with the price of £785 which given the age of the car was good so I asked what I do he said the price is held for 5 days make an appointment online so I did for the following Friday 30/7/21, on this day there was a different person in charge gave my details in all ready to sell my car to him he said went outside checked the car again then came back with a price off £125 said that’s wrong can’t offer one price one week then change the week after I’d get more if I scrapped it. If you need to sell your car for any reason KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, I know my car isn’t worth a fortune it’s an old car but I do know it’s worth a lot more than these offer you highly disgusting avoid this company they shouldn’t be allowed to do what they do.

Offered half of the price given on website. It is an 11 year old car with surface scratches that would be associated with a car of that age. It had 7 months mot. And invoices for work completed.l The price offered was at best insulting. When i queried the difference i was told " the price quoted was irrelevant" l think that says it all. Please avoid this company

Wasted my time driving down there, they offered me a fraction of the online price knocking off hundreds for any little petty excuse when the car was in excellent condition, perfect working or with nearly a full years Mot. I arranged for someone to drive down with me to pick me up once I'd sold it but no they tried scamming me, wasted my time and the persons time who driven down with me to bring me back. Makes me cringe every time I see an advert where it's all smiles as if they are doing a good deed/deal for someone when in reality they are scamming filth, every time I see an advert it takes me back to the moment they tried scamming me. Never will go near them again and if anyone asks me if I recmend them then I tell them about my experience with them "shiver down the spine"
