“We found the plastic extremely difficult to cut to match the pipe size & the inside of the butt had piece's of plastic left on around the inside of the butt. All the cutting took a very long time!! Otherwise ok.”

“Great service, the parts all arrived and we are now able to 're-commission' the worn out water butt we inherited when we moved in. The parts were quite expensive - it cost us over £50 to get 4 parts, the same as buying a small new water butt. However we decided to reuse the old one anyway. Please consider reducing the cost to encourage people to reuse an old water butt where possible.”

“The water butt was delivered as promised and is generally good in quality. The one issue I had was with the tap. It would not screw on vertically. Despite putting a lot of pressure on it, it was nearly a quarter turn short of vertical. The result was the tap is virtually on its side. However it works well enough. A pity that the thread was not given more thought so that it works properly.”

“I inadvertently ordered separately and paid for two water butts instead of one. I was contacted and asked if I had made a mistake. I'm almost speechless!! How often does that happen? I did decide to give one to my daughter so was happy to proceed with the order. They were delivered within days. What excellent customer service. Thank you so much for your concern. “The Harcostar 227L Water Butt, Stand and Diverter Kit seems a high quality product. I like the fact that the inlet (and optional outlet) is pre-drilled with a pre-fitted stopper. Water diverter easy to fit, youtube video very useful. Very prompt delivery.”

Really happy with it..yet installation was not as straight forward as showed in diagram particularly the water hose unit as in what height it should be..following instructions as to diagram water did not flow to fill drum..so i did what worked! And it works perfectly now.. also a wipe down of drum would of been nice as it was a bit dirty! Still does not effect how good it is..great quality, ideal colour for my garden..now i just need rain 😁.. Great price..highly recommend”

“Ordered 210 ltr water butt, arrived within the delivery dates quoted. Product was as advertised, holes were pre drilled for diverter connection and tap (nice touch). Assembled and ready to go in about half an hour ( cutting the down pipe to accept the diverter took the longest..measure twice and cut once)….”
