Thank you for your recent order and review. The order that you have reviewed was in stock at the time of purchase, and dispatched the same day that it was purchased. However, if you're speaking more generally, we do have regular, limited-time offers on a wide range of products. We always ensure that a product has plenty of stock before it goes on offer, although there's always a chance that popular sizes/colours will sell out quickly. In this case, we do still provide the option to place a back-order. This enables you to reserve your stock at the discounted price and be the first to receive the new stock from the factory. If you'd prefer not wait, each product page also includes suggestions for similar alternatives (located below the size guide). I hope that this helps! Dear Helen, I'm very sorry for the delay with delivery on this occasion, and for any inconvenience caused. I can see that your order was dispatched on 22/08/2022 with Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-3 working days), so should have arrived by Thursday 25th. The tracking shows that it arrived on the 27th, so please accept our apologies for the 2 day delay. I will be glad to reimburse the postage cost to you now. They're pretty, but I'm only 5'2" and they don't come up very high on the leg, it's not much above my knee. You'd be able to see the tops in a dress so unfortunately can't wear them.

I waited 8 weeks for the delivery of three pairs of tights. I was consistently told they would be arriving in 10 to 20 days but they took too long to arrive. They took the money from my account as soon as I ordered them. I believe it should not have been taken until stock was available. The members of staff who answered the phone were very polite and apologetic.

Payment is taken at the point of purchase, as we do not hold payment information, to ensure your financial security. All in-stock products are dispatched within 1 working day. As you say, for out-of-stock items we tend to give an average estimate of 10-20 days, although this is not a guarantee. Depending on where in the world a particular brand is coming from, and how recently we placed an order with the supplier, stock replenishment times can vary. We regularly receive stock from certain brands within 1-4 days, but items coming from overseas may take 1-4 weeks. If your order is time-sensitive, please check with us directly for an ETA on specific products prior to purchase and we'll be glad to assist. Otherwise, it is reasonable to assume that out-of-stock items will be fulfilled within a maximum of 4 weeks. Unusual Delays Over the past couple of years, we have seen occasional supply issues due to manufacturing delays with various products. This is very difficult for us to predict and can be changeable, depending upon how a particular factory is affected at any given time by Covid infection, demand for specific products, as well as supply logistics. We also sell some products which, until recently, were produced in Ukraine. The brands concerned are now working to redirect production elsewhere. Due to these current demands and restrictions, some products may take longer than 4 weeks to come back into stock. However, this is rare and we'd like to assure you that the majority of items are still being replenished promptly. For the items that are delayed, we are working hard with our suppliers to ensure that stock reaches us as quickly as possible. If you've been waiting a while (or even if you haven't), we'll always be happy to offer you a similar, in-stock alternative, store credit or refund. If you're happy to continue to wait (as you were), that's great! In that instance, we'll always do everything that we can to get your order to you ASAP. Stock is reserved for live orders and is automatically shipped as soon as it becomes available. We also send a dispatch email so that you know when it's on its way. I recently bought a Passion Eco Adrianna Strip Panty Net Bodystocking. The pattern and general body fit is very nice. However, the straps are positioned in the wrong place and fall down. I wore this underneath a dress and it made me very uncomfortable all evening due to the straps falling down my arms.

The leg Avenue tights unfortunately are not wearable as such bad quality material. I would not recommend those. Yet to try the others I purchased. The delivery and service was fast though

Not very happy with the duration of their hold ups, single use to be honest, I bought from Annn Summers before and they lasted much much longer and they're price similarly. Even the thicker once ripp easily.

This is sadly not the first time I have bought tights which were not cheap and which were really disappointing. The tights were not long enough (I'm 6'1") and trying to make them fit just caused them to ladder immediately - didn't even get to wear them once :-( The size guide suggests they should fit

Hi Pamela, I'm really sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Giulia Santina 20 Lurex Fashion Tights N.11. Unfortunately, looking at this product on our website, the size guide shows that size Large will fit a maximum height of 5'11" (or shorter, depending on hips/weight measurement). To fit a height of 6'1", you would normally need to opt for size: XL+, in order to provide sufficient leg length. Exactly what I wanted , but ordered on 1st Nov 2920 and got them last week . To be fair I was notified of delay and regular updates were sent . Lovely to have them now , guess there was a supply problem

You're absolutely right, this was an unusual delay for this item. Normally we'd expect all out of stock items on our site to be replenished within 10-20 days. In fact, staple lines such as the 24/7 range from Charnos usually come into stock much quicker, as our UK supplier normally holds a vast amount of stock at their UK warehouse. Unfortunately, replenishment took much longer this time around, as there was a manufacturing problem which created a backlog of orders to be fulfilled. Ordering and delivery we're very good. The tights are very light but do the compression well. However I snagged them on the first wearing and they laddered immediately.

Dear Dawn I paid an extra £2.99 for quick delivery as wanted to wear these on new years eve, they finally arrived on 4/1/21 too late to wear so cannot comment on quality but I was very disappointed that I paid for a service which fell short.

Whilst Royal Mail is trying to maintain normal postal services, we do advise that Tracked 48 is between 3-5 days. Normal deliveries and collections should take place in all parts of the UK. However, despite Royal Mail's best efforts, some parts of the country may experience varying levels of delivery disruption. This is due to Coronavirus-related absences and necessary social distancing measures; such as reducing the number of people together in shared spaces and vehicles. Coupled with the increased volumes of seasonal mail and backlogs of deliveries, I'm afraid that delays do seem to be the norm at this moment.
