Dear Michaela, Thank you for getting in touch yesterday (29th Dec) about your order. I can see that your item was dispatched on the date that it was placed (23rd) and sent with Royal Mail Tracked 24 (estimated 1-3 working days). Unfortunately, as Royal Mail wasn't working Friday 25th - Monday 28th December, your item took longer than usual to arrive, in terms of calendar days. Your tracking shows that it was delivered on the 29th (within 2 working days of dispatch). The tights have a hole at the top where a seam has not quite been secured. I can send a picture if you wanted to see . Other than that they are ok

Dear Helen Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you have received a defective garment. This is something we don't like to hear and you are more than welcome to return them to us. We can either issue an exchange, credit note or a refund. We will also feedback your complaint to the manufacturer. Please write a covering note to go in the parcel, explaining the fault, and including your name, address and order number. You can print a new free returns label here: UK Tights Returns Label. We highly recommend dropping the parcel off at your local post office and getting a returns receipt - this is your proof of postage and will provide some tracking for the order. If you don't have a printer, please follow the instructions in the link, and you can select the option to have a QR code emailed to you; which can then printed out at a participating post office or delivery/sorting Office. Once I have seen how they deal with my return having recieved a fairly expensive pair of wider knee highs where one tight had a strange mix of deniers and the other didn't I can review this accoridngly. so far not impressed.

Don’t normally give poor reviews but I’m disappointed with my experience. The size chart for these tights tells me I need a size 1 but the product is only available in sizes 2, 3 and 4. No actual leg length was given so I sent for size 2 hoping they would fit but they’re too long. I’m not allowed to send them back as I’ve opened the packet!!!!!! How else would I have checked the product? Also, the price of this product would suggest that they are of superior quality £25+ and for that price I would have expected a proper flat toe seam rather than the nasty lumpy one that’s on them which digs into the skin making it very uncomfortable. It’s a pity really as they are pretty and could be really nice with a little more thought.

You are indeed correct that we do not stock this product in size 1, but as we sell other products from Girardi in size 1, the size guide we have published, relates to our entire Girardi range. All sizing information on our product details is provided by the manufacturer so that you can make your purchase in confidence that your hosiery will fit. We are governed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which prevents us from accepting opened legwear goods which are not faulty. I'm also sorry to hear that you found the toe seam to be uncomfortable. This particular product is over 70% wool. Wool is a very dense yarn and by it's nature, will not have a flat seam when sewn. We ordered 2 pairs Cette Quebec tights. One pair only came next day- great delivery. No indication when other pair would arrive, just 'to follow'. Heard nothing since. If u don't have the stock amount in why does it show this as available? You have taken the money out, we are still waiting for info. and the second pair! Would hesitate to recommend.

Delivery too slow. Tights came too late for purpose they were required for. So tights not used yet.

I can see that you selected Tracked24 for the delivery, and we do advise that is can take between 1-3 working days. Royal Mail have advised that normal deliveries and collections should take place in all parts of the UK. However, despite their best efforts, some parts of the country may experience varying levels of delivery disruption, due to Coronavirus-related absences and necessary social distancing measures. Such as, reducing the number of people together in shared spaces and vehicles. We're very sorry for any inconvenience, but Royal Mail are working hard to keep any delays to a minimum, while keeping their workforce and customers safe. I purchased the new Miss O Gloss Opaque Hold Ups (not cheap but look great on) Unfortunately the thin line of silicon around the top does NOT do it's job! They were falling down as fast as I could pull them up!!! Hard to return once you have tried them on! I ended up having to use a suspender belt! This worked but did not give me the look that I was looking for! This is a great shame as the hold up stocking have great potential it's just the design of the top requires tweaking to be able to call the "hold ups" More like "slip downs" :-(

I really wanted 20 dern in melon but you didn't have so I thought I would try 30 dern in L, my usual size, but I couldn't get them on, they were so tight! Can I return one of the Packs I didn't open?

The tights were much smaller than anticipated. I bought size 20-26 as I am a size 20 and was worried they might be too big and saggy. I needn’t have worried! They were far too small and will probably have to just be binned. 🙁

Hi Sarah I'm really sorry to hear that you've received a pair of tights and that you're not happy with them. If you could tell me what colour thread was in the back of the waistband I will be able to check with the manufacturer which size product it is. Perhaps they were put in the wrong packet. I'd love to sort this out for you as it's really irritating to find a product that you think is going to be big but then it's too small. Hope this helps.

Ordered 40 denier ankle socks but look and feel like 15 denier, not what I expected as thought would be thicker like other 40 denier socks I have purchased elsewhere so would not order again,disappointed.

Dear Mr Parker I'm sorry that you find our service substandard at present. I have checked your order and it was placed 10th March but the product that you ordered was out of stock at the time of ordering. There is a standard 10 - 20 to fulfil an order that is out of stock. This is quoted when the order is placed. We then got our delivery in from Italy, which under the circumstances was remarkable and given that we furloughed all our staff from 1st March 2020, we as directors have actually sent your order out to you which I believe you have received this morning. I think we have in fact, given the circumstances, gone over and above to give you a good service. I hope you understand that the whole world is on slow/lock down at present and yet we have actually got your order to you quicker than we had estimated. I hope this explains things clearly for you.

V short : bought the XL just in case . I’m 175cm and size 12 and they are only just long enough in the leg. Not v comfortable to wear. I’ll use them but won’t buy again. However, the service was excellent as always 🙂

Service was good but the tights are too long in the leg plus I could not manage to get them on as compression too strong for my capabilities. As they have been opened I understand I am unable to return for refund.
