Awful service when claiming for a dental checkup. They refused to pay my 1st receipt as it wasn’t the exact amount for a checkup as I had bought dental sticks after the check up. I had to re request an invoice from my dentist. It took over 4 weeks to process the claim after 3 emails backwards and forwards.

I am expressing my deep disappointment of the refusal to cover the £250 cost of the treatment that has placed an unexpected and burdensome financial strain on me, particularly as a student already grappling with managing expenses. When I enrolled in your insurance plan, I did so with the belief that it would offer assistance in covering essential dental expenses, ensuring I could afford necessary treatments. However, I was dismayed to discover that white fillings are not covered under Nhs costs, a fact that was not adequately communicated to me by my dentist or your policy beforehand, leaving me fully responsible for the entire expense. Therefore, I terminated my subscription with your company, as it fails to serve my needs as initially intended.

Have submitted our bank details three times , still no payment received from claim on the 29.02.24, we are now due nearly £500

Been refused a prescription payment as i buy a prepaid prescription due to the volume of medication , why they wouldn't pay a one off prescription payment like any body else i don't know i have had to pay , i know it will only cover under £9 but that helps . this needs looking into UK healthcare , i will be passing this info on to our company who use you .

Had two policies and two claims one refused due to private treatment and the other processed incorrectly. Would not recommend.

I made a request to change from one policy to another changing the people on the policy too which I really thought would be difficult but it was completed in a very short time. Any in customer service rang me and completed this immediately for which I was very grateful.

I have never had a health plan before and have found this service to be exceptional. Staff respond quickly and efficiently to emails. So far I have claimed dental treatment, no bother, and added my children to the cover which provides peace of mind.

Sara was good at setting up my policies but as to making a claim....nightmare. Each time l contacted them for an update l spoke to someone different and each required more information to complete the claim, despite contradicting themselves. Eventually got the policy claims refunded but now l cancelled the policy. Very frustrating.

I contacted the company with regards to my dental plan and a payment that had not been processed. The customer service representative was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. She gave me her direct email so I could send the documents to her to enable her to process my claim. My claim was completed the next day. Excellent customer service.

Having been a member of Westfield health for a number of years where the customer service was excellent I am somewhat unhappy with the customer service delivered by UK healthcare. I took out dental cover some months ago and have never received a welcome pack in the post as promised when I signed up. I queried this when wanted to make a claim and hadn’t received a policy number as required on the claim form. When I contacted UK healthcare I was unhappy at the implication that I must’ve received the welcome pack as it was despatched by them and I therefore must be mistaken. When I was passed on to another person they were also insistent that I must’ve received the welcome pack - I hadn’t and when I insisted that I hadn’t they eventually said they would send me another pack in the post. I still have not received it despite an e mail dated 14 March assuring me that a pack would be sent. When I made a claim for some dental treatment, I was contacted by e mail and asked to provide additional in formation. Once I received this from my dentist I forwarded it to UK healthcare, I received an automatic reply but to date haven’t received any information as to whether or not the information I submitted is satisfactory.

Deborah extremely helpful responding to my query re an apparently unprocessed claim. Quick and efficient with a followup email afterwards. She explained about the backlog of emails (I was still awaiting a reply to two emails). Would be Five Stars, if only UK Healthcare could find a way, when responding to claims submitted, to give the Heading of the claim as well as giving it a number (eg Osteopathy, Chiropody etc). Would make keeping track of our various submissions much easier

I was sent an email from Mark Shaw in customer services on Thursday evening at 17.17pm stating that he needed more proof of my surname. I felt this was an assault because I work for Hammersmith & Fulham and have been with your organisation for a long time. For him to question who I am was very upsetting. This has now been sorted by Nicola whom I found extremely helpful. She even sent me an email stating when I would receive my claim. Thank you Nicola

The lady I dealt with from UK Healthcare was really helpful, professional and caring. I was struggling to download receipts and she made the claims process so much easier for me.
