About U Drive Cover:

U Drive Cover Limited is an independent insurance intermediary wholly owned by a senior management team with over 50 years experience in the non-standard insurance market covering motor, commercial vehicle, fleet, household and motorcycle.

We welcome enquiries from customers with an accident or motoring conviction history as well as modified vehicles. We can offer up to 65% discount for ex company car drivers with an accident-free history or for households where there is more than one car. We also offer cover for any car from a Mini to a Ferrari and for all ages from 17 to 99.

U Drive Cover Limited was formed to offer customers a personal approach. We treat each customer as an individual and offer an excellent service. Coupled with our excellent relationships with major Insurers, this enables us to offer competitive premiums as well as the personal touch. For the convenience of customers we do offer online quotations and the opportunity to purchase online but we also feel that we can make a difference by listening to the customer’s individual needs.

The U Drive Cover Limited offices are based In the UK and are manned by staff that have many years’ experience in providing these products. We do encourage existing and new customers to call us as there are many rating factors that can influence car insurance premiums and we welcome the opportunity to listen to your needs. Our aim is to prove that excellent service does not mean that you have to pay higher premiums.

“I'm new buy insurance from Udrive, unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with their service. When I received the 1st proposal from their CS, they said the insurance cost is more higher as i'm a new driver. I designed to cancel with this higher cost, 1 day after, i re-instate the cover with udrive because of some reason. However, none of their CS advised that there has a re-instatement charge until i received their text message on 8/3 that they said i have a overdue payment £650. That's impossible that they incur this charge on customer without any notice, this is not a small amount and not possible to afford this charge. No mentioned in verbally or receive any email from their side, that's unfair to customer. This issue makes me depressed because of this huge amount. They also claimed that my policy only valid for 7 days starting i receive the 1st SMS message, this is ridiculous that they cancel my policy by 7 days notice. I'm waiting for their response on my case but i'm not happy with this service.”

“They are scammers. They increase quote when you contact them. They will ask for unlimited documents. If you want to cance insurance. They take heavy cancellation fee. I had 8 months remaining from my cover. They just promised for very minimal refund. Stay away”

“To start with, everything went smoothly, but then it all came crumbling down. They felt it necessary to impose a 'fine' of almost £500 and increase my premiums by an extra £288 because my partner had been given a speeding fine, a notification of which had never been received at any time, but was listed against her drivers license. To then give me 7 days to respond or they will automatically recover the 'fine' from my bank is mind-boggling, unprofessional and (in my opinion) borders on theft!! My advice - stay well away from these guys !!!”

“Shambles of a company avoid at all costs. It’s absolutely criminal the amount they was charging me a month £500 to start with that was at 55% increase from the year before! After 4 months and just under £2000 later due to financial circumstances I’ve had to chose between heating my home or driving so I had to cancel. They are trying to charge me £950!!! They expect people to pay for a service even though I no longer own a car!!! And then threatening with bailiffs. AVOID AT ALL COST, also the staff are very un trained and lack basic manners.”

“Very bad experience, never seen this that After 5 months of use i can't cancel it and has tonpaid 70% of yearly cover to be cancelled. What if i do sell car after 1 month? Should i pay next 6 months for nothing. DO NOT CHOOSE this expensive cover.”

“Take advantage of people in tough positions. Make sure you read the fine print on cancelling your policy as they will make you pay extortionate amounts to get out of the policy.”

“I would not recommend to go ahead with this company 2 months of cover cost me nearly 1000£ i did cancel the policy and i had to pay 600 £ premium plus the deposit i did pay at the begging and the 1 month direct debit not to mention that also my very last dd needs to be cleared before the policy cancel proper rip off AVOID”
